I punish when I don't get a sorry from the guy who killed me. If he apologizes I'll forgive him, if he lets it slide, I let it slide and he gets punished by default, if it was a blatant TK than I'll punish and question his skills and mother's sexuality.
I favor threatening the consumption of their children. :)
I'm pretty similar if I see what happened I usually forgive 90% of the time. If it I don't see how it could be a reasonable accident I wait for the apology if it doesn't come then I let the auto punish kick in. This works out to me forgiving about 95% of the people tk me.Quote:

i love tk punish in cs:source... setting people on fire is just so gratifying...
I always forgive because...who cares. It's a war game, I expect to die. I rarely ever say sorry either because if I do happen to accidently kill someone, I'm probably in the middle of a battle and don't have the time to stop and type. I figure if I got TK'd, my teammate was probably in the same situation.
yes...I'd be in a tank shooting at the same spot over and over again...and people just run at the exact same spot...Quote:

You don't have to type it, just go to your CommoRose (Q) and move the mouse left to highlight 'Thank You' and click fire. Bingo, share the love.Quote:

If it's blatent teamkilling, then I punish but if it's clearly unintentional I let it go, it happens. I don't bother saying sorry nor do I expect apologies from people who do it to me.
John
I do often threaten child eating in the game, but I don't punish everyone for TKs.
I started the trend of just punishing everyone left and right except for squadmates or unless it's my fault I got killed.
Got tired of being mr.nice guy, got me no where.
Here is a scenerio of tk followed by a punish. Your flying jet in the clear blue sky thinking, "i am the greatest" when out of nowhere your painted, you quickly look behind and notice jet on your ***. you put on your top gun music and do a couple of evasive menuavors and get behind your enemy, paint him and launch a two missle right at him. The first hits clean, while second misses flies into a friendly chopper carring 5 dudes and kills em all and you go from being first in the server to last. Nice one.
Another scenerio is also my fav. Your in bomber mode see a nice sqaure drop bombs on his *** only to find out that it was friendly who for some reason got painted by your plains puter becouse he got out of his vehicle. I dont understand why this one happens (pls explain.)
As for punshing i only punish morons who see you in front of them and run you over. but i am glad to report that the new patch made it easier to live with morons.
The one that drives me crazy is Karkand. I mean it makes total sense to mine the hell out of everything if you are MEC. That loan jeep that goes for the flag at the top will get stopped this way. Then you got ace tank jockey...."Hey instead of defending I am gonna camp their spawn. Hey what are those bright red skulls on the ground? Oh well I am a tank." BOOM. I stop that jeep and my own tank....back at 0 points. I get a teamkill everytime I do this, and people never figure out it was the mine that killed them. I think the problem is that it just says teamkill...If it said, "You are an idiot for running over your own marked mine" then I prolly wouldn't get a team kill. Honestly it needs to say, "Name teamkills Idiot with a mine."
Oh I hardly ever punish others unless they are dumb. I do get a lot of punishes in the tank and driving the jeep. Do they even realize the field of view sucks in vehicles?
its subjective. if someone tks me for fun, then i don't punish. I just tk them backx10 or switch teams and make it my goal to hunt them down.
Otherwise, if its just cross fire, and i get hit, no worries.
that happened to one of my teammates once..you went on fire, and set everyone else on his team on fire too :(Quote:

the funniest instance of TKing i can recall happened as i watched on the other team. One of the USMC (my team) engineers had laid AT mines on the ramp right near the square checkpoint, and one of the MEC engineers was disarming them with his wrench. joe smacktard comes flying around the U-turn in his vodnik (with the horn held down from about 150m away of course), and runs over his teammate who was disarming the mines, and also hits one killing himself and 3 of his teammates in the vodnik. they need "weighted" punishment for that... ban him from every server for like 2 weeks.
In a real life TK, like when that american dropped a 500 lbs bomb on a squad of canadians, I say death sentence.
You should be shot for saying something so stupid.Quote:

He was even convicted in an american military court, got his wings clipped.
dishonarable discharged, but it should be minimum, life imprisonment.
oh boy here, we go, thread will get locked now :(Quote:

You may make a mistake when you're walking and step on someone's heel, tiny mistake, for the pilot in the airplane or the tanker, that one tiny mistake can be fatal to others around them.
That is why if the mistake is an honest mistake, they are free to go. Reckless mistake =discharge. Intentional mistake = prison time.
I don't watch CNN, my "propaganda" channel. I make all my conclusions from real world experience, thank you very much.
I figured he got discharged becouse the candians were crying that they lost four soilders and america couldnt afford to loose candian support? but maybe your right aboot him being incompetent.Quote:

They are allowed to fire if they are being fired upon (naturally).
They were not being fired upon, not even close to it. The Pilot saw tracer fire, he asked for permission, flew over a few times, seen a group of people (it was night) called self-defence, and went into to manuevers to drop a bomb. He did not wait for confirmation of target.
After Hoohaying and yahooing, he said, "I hope that was the right thing to do". Immediately on the radio came the report, "Friendlies are at that location".
It could just as easily have been americans at that spot.
He didnt follow the rules of engagement. He made a very bad judgement call. And that was from American military officials. And I don't think it was just because we're allies, they do the same thing when it's friendly fire between american's.
It's true that if the victims were muslims (like when americans bombed the weddings, lol, celebratory gun fire), he wouldn't lose his wings and his carreer. But hey, like you say, "sh*t happens"
ok, we get the point, canada pressed page down... use PMs for that stuff.
