anyone get it yet?
I got mid terms and projects due so I"m afraid to get it till it's over.
I know I won't be able to control myself and study while the box is sitting on top of my PC.
anyone that got it how is it?

I havent got it yet, but my midterm are behind me hahah.
I just picked up Forza in the bargain bin and have stalker, so I have those to go through before I think about another game. BTW forza is sweet :) (I am a diehard GT lover, but forza is starting to sway me more toward the middle.)
What? No new posts since lunch? I thought you guys would be all over this. Only reason I havn't bought it yet is because I have to finish what I have.
I thought it was being released tomorrow. Does anyone know what the Kane version has?
C & C feels very old school ( in a negative way) after playing games like Company of Heroes. They can add 1000 more units with pros and cons but in the end you will hold your left mouse, draw a huge box and then target the enemy base. The orginal was fun, but this feel exact the same game with different graphics, i made the mistake once with buying Ages of Empire 3. Of course you can say the same about shooters, but never had the idea that RTS in general actually got better gameplay or improved somehow.
Dude I was a die hard GT lover I even bought the 150 dollar GT wheel for the PS2, still have it in fact... I think I need to bust out GT4 and that wheel tonight.Quote:

Lol, I had TWO logitech wheels :) I am liking forza a lot right now. Can't wait for Forza 2, will probably buy the wheel to go with it. I think the physics are better in forza, plus the dynamic driving line is a great addition. I find myself driving a lot faster now because of that line, it makes it easier to learn the tracks. I do agree with you, the cars look more real in GT4.Quote:

I agree with this. After playing things like CoH and Supreme Commander, C&C3 just feels too archaic.Quote:

I'm cool with that. live cut scenes is what I like about C&CQuote:

Does anyone know what the Kane version has and if it is worth it? I liked the demo and plan on buying it.
yea the cutscenes are the only reason i wanna play it. although saying that the demo was pretty fun.
with Kane = 9/10, without Kane = 7/10.
i just finished playing through the first ACT of the GDI campaign
all i have to say is wow, some seriously fun gameplay here, there is never a dull moment. There is also various ways to finish each mission, for example the last mission in ACT 1 has you retaking the white house, but all NOD's forces are shrouded under stealth generators. So i sent a small squad of grenade troops in apc's up the left flank and nailed their power plants to drop their defenses.
oh and the cut scenes are top notch, drooling with nostalgia
this game seriously takes me back to the early days of pc gaming, and i love it
while the mechanics might not be revolutionary like SupCom or other recent RTS's this game just serves up fun at every turn
"Kane Edition includes a bonus DVD with a behind-the-scenes documentary, deleted scenes, blooper reel, gameplay strategy videos and more, five new multiplayer maps, three unique skins and five exclusive wallpapers"
I'll be looking for a new strategy game once my Medieval II campaign wraps up...
Do you guys think this or SupCom would be a better choice overall (I'm only going to buy one at the moment)?
For some reason I could never get into C &C. I tried with pretty much every version, but no go. Granted, with Grace Park in C&C3 I might be able to "rise" to the occasion...hahahah...get it!...hahaha..ohhh I slay me.
No but seriously, I think she's attractive.
I've tried a couple times also. Dunno what it is. :(
best line ever... "I'm the Juggernaut!"
Make your time!

And now this thread is mildly nsfw.
I really hope there will be a scene where the commander "accidently" trip and falls on top of her . . . .
