I think it woudl be better to lube a watermelon with crisco, and then place it on your jewels and smash it with a sledgehammer like Gallagher did or w/e his name was.

the general consensus is if you have at least a e6600 and a 7800gt with 2 gigs memory, you can run the game at near max settings.

7800GT? I somehow doubt that, maybe 8800GT :p

But at any rate, with UT3 and Crysis coming out in november, its definately time for a PC upgrade...perhaps I'll even make the switch to Vista at that time since Crysis is suppose to look much better on Vista...time will tell.

I feel sorry for people who upgraded their computers this spring to the latest and greatest at full price just for Crysis.

I'm kinda glad for this news. I played far Cry originally on an Athlon 2000+, 512Mb RAM and a Radeon 9000Pro. Even with everything turned down I still had a great time with it, but of course it would have been even beter had I been able to experience it right off as it was meant to be played. This delay gives me time to upgrade sometime this fall, without missing out. :)

Watch it bud, you're cruising for a bruising there!:p :D Just to prove you wrong, I'll keep my hardware as it is till then......with a minor caveat on the quad core upgrade.:o

Edit - As for being the 'most loaded', it ain't true! I'm sure Bill Gates lurks here sometimes....:p :D Just kidding, I ain't the 'most loaded' here, just one with no life outside 'puters.:(
