This time you even get a movie as well...
This is starting to get played out.
Agreed, I think I'm skipping this one. I don't really even play most of them, I just usually buy in because I like the concept.
"Reusing" this thread...
Amnesia, Psychonauts, LIMBO, and Superbrothers (and their soundtracks) in the newest bundle, plus Bastion if you beat the average (currently about $7.10).
Pay $1 or more to get Steam keys. If you own the game(s) already, you don't get extra copies though.
The new bundle is great! Too bad I already own every one of those games.
I have all of them but Bastion. Great deal, especially with the soundtracks.
i think these bundles actually hurt devs because i dont bother to buy many new indie titles anymore because i know a bundle is not far behind... bastion is one game that fits that bill for me
I would have liked to see another Android bundle so I could push some non-gamer colleagues into more decent games.
As for the bundle, I don't own Bastion, but I am unsure about almost $8 to add it to my currently huge backlog. I am banking on a summer sale (or maybe a winter sale if I don't clear enough backlog) for it.
Wow, I've been waiting to buy Bastion and LIMBO. Awesome deal, thanks.
I dropped $15 on the set. Not because I don't own most of them (I already do) but I like the DRM free thing. Plus I like helping people who make awesome games, even if it doesn't help them all that much.
I do find that when I buy these bundles, I download EVERY version they offer, just in case. Even though 99% of my gaming is Windows, I never know when I might switch to a Mac or use my Linux install more often.
Without a doubt, the best one so far (IMO).
They just added Braid, Super Meat Boy, and Lone Survivor if you pay more than the average. Thankfully, I've been holding out on most of these games, except for Braid.
Not that you know me ;) but I am still 1 for 8 in games I already owned. :)
It's the same problem as the big Steam sales...once you buy up all of their cheap games, there are no more cheap games to buy the next time they have a sale. :p
Humble Bundle 6: https://www.humblebundle.com/
- Rochard
- Shatter
- S.P.A.Z
- Torchlight
- Vessel
- Dustforce (if you pay more than average, currently $5.32)
Get in before notch. ;)
I don't (i.e. didn't) need any more games, but I didn't have any of them but Torchlight, so I got it.
The new bundle is pretty great! Don't be fooled by the beautiful artwork and music of Dustforce, that game is harder than Super Meat Boy. (Also it's awesome)
Gonna get this one namely for SPAZ, although I ve heard good things about Shatter.
I honestly think the bundle is worth it for the Shatter and Dustforce soundtracks alone. The fact that there are awesome games there is just icing on the cake. :D
Didn't like Dust Force, something about the controls didn't agree with me at all.
Already own pretty much everything in the bundle. I also preferred back when they had more obscure stuff, or games whose release coincided with being in the Humble Bundle.
Picked this up. I only had torchlight and have been eyeing the other games for a while.
Just FYI...
I got an email reminding me that there's only one week left to get the current Humble eBook Bundle (which I didn't get).
What it actually reminded me of is that I never actually downloaded (or got my Steam keys for) Humble Bundle 6 (the previous one). And then I remembered I never heard about them adding any additional games to that bundle like they always do, so I went to check that on their blog and it turns out they did (Sep 24), but I definitely was never notified of it:
So now I have 10 games I'll never end up playing instead of 6. :DQuote:
We’ve just added four more amazing titles to the Humble Indie Bundle 6! If you’ve already picked up a bundle, you’ll find BIT.TRIP RUNNER, Gratuitous Space Battles, Jamestown, and Wizorb available now on your download page. The first three are bundle alumni from Humble Indie Bundle 4, and Wizorb is all new to the Humble Bundle family! These four great DRM-free games run on Mac, Windows, and Linux, can optionally be redeemed on Steam and the Ubuntu Software Centre, and all come with soundtracks!
Forgot about this as well. Thanks for the reminder!
I don't know why I bother with this since I haven't even loaded a game in about 6 months, but I did beat the average... ;)
