Any playing the new Free MMO?
DDO was pretty decent for a free MMO so I'm curious to try this out and will be on teh Dragon Server so I can join the RPS Guild.

I played this in closed beta and it doesn't possess anywhere near the complexity of DDO and the difficulty in general is pretty simple. I'll check it out now that it's "out", though I get the feeling the community-made missions are going to be much more compelling than the basic stuff the developers put in there.
I've been playing Aion lately for my MMO fix, I will give this a shot. Looks fun.
Played a Rogue for a while. Was enjoyable.
Bout to launch it. I'll try to catch you on the Dragon Server Tag.
Sweet,
I went halfling trickster rogue named "Stabitha"
You need to hit level 15 though to send tells which is odd.
Voice acting is very rough. The quest system is a little too simple as it points to EVERYTHING with a glowing trail. I can see doing it for the tutorial stuff but make people explore a bit otherwise. I made a trickster rogue too and thought combat was great. Got up to level 10 or 11 so I was able to play with Stealth some which was great. Doesn't last as long as I'd like tho, but long enough to get in position for an attack.
My hope is the game really takes off past level 15 and you have access to the foundry to create your own adventures. As Kama stated, I think the real greatness will be in user created modules like the never winter nights games.
Keep us informed on your impressions. I want to know if this is worth ditching GW2.
It's definitely fun. I have a level 15 trickster rogue and it's a blast. Definitely feels too easy right now, hopefully that changes as the levels progress.
Haven't been able to log in all day, tried every hour or so. Oh well it looks fun.
Finally made it in. Can't figure out how to pick up my gear from the wreckage, been at it for half an hour hitting buttons. FML.
It should be F unless you changed your key binds.
Edit: it should tell you on screen to press F to pick up gear. If it doesn't, wander over to the piles that are sparkling. And if you want to turn off the glowing quest line tracker, press Z. You can press it again to turn it back on.
Yeah I was standing there watching other people pick it up while I jumped up and down for a while LOL. I figured out I have to wait for the person to finish talking about the quest instead of skipping it :P
I'm on Dragon server, Character name is Cryogen. Lv15 Trickster Rogue
I created my character on Dragon as well. I am Ghart Stabbyface.
All DPS and no Tank? Hmmmm I'll sign up tonight.
OK its not a bad little game, shame every piece of loot that dropped was for a different class than the defensive tank I made.
But I enjoy the time I spent playing tonight and will fool around with it again tomorrow.
Stormraven War'wind is my tank's name.
Oh and my kid rolled a healer...
I hit level 5 (after re-rolling once) before going to bed, Jenny played longer than I did so she is probably > 8
Going to take the time to figure out the UI first before playing tonight, so far it comes across as not being very good.
One thing that had me laughing is I rolled a female dwarf and used the breast slider to make her slightly less "endowed" as the preset, everything looked OK in the character selection screen, but when I logged into the actually game... well lets just say, if the king needs a battering ram, he can hire my toon.
:p
I hit 21 last night, it gets so much better when you queue up for PvP/Dungeon/Skirmish, especially if there's an hourly event that gives you crystals/xp/chests. If anyone needs help with anything I can help.
Oh yeah? At what level do you have access to these Dungeons and hourly events? :D
