Can this game be played in first person view ??
It runs great on a ti4200 ....sweet game, but I'll only play it through once ...no replay value at all IMO .

I knocked the pins out and things came crashing down but then what do you do because he is still up there?Quote:

there's 4 more pins after you knock the platform down.
The ESRB warning says the game has "partial nudity", but I was suspicious as soon as I knew it was a "love story".
So is there alot of nudity, or a flat-out sex scene (ala Mafia), or what?
There's partial nudity in the default game, and full nudity if you use "-developerkeys" mode. No actual "scenes" though.;)Quote:

There's not much really, you almost see some things when she's in the shower but on the whole it's not that radical in terms of sexual content.
Oh, that can be changed. ;)Quote:

The reason I ask is because I'm intersted in getting it, but my computer is in a rather central location, and I'd rather not have Max and Mona going at it everytime I boot it up. Just a tad awkward if ya get my point. ;)
It's not the sight as much as the sounds. There are a few cut scenes with her moaning or speaking in a suggestive tone.
Well I meant the game for $39 range not the video card. Anyways I just got a 9700 Pro so it's all good :D . Also, this game rocks. The new engine is hot and the way he reloads during bullet time is so awesome. I'm on Part 3 and like ch.3 or something. Ohh yeah, Mona is so fine. I'd hit that... if it wasn't animated.;)Quote:

EDIT:
Why can't other game engines be this smooth?? I'm hearing of people maxing out detail with a Ti4200 at 1024x768 with nothing but smooth play. There are only a few games now a days you can do that with. The one I wish I could do it with *cough* HALO *cough* has the worse coding this side of windows. Well they were backed by the same company M$. Bastards.
I just got this game yesterday, and I've already been playing a lot. This rocks! This is great, perfect sequel to the original. The bullet-time is neat, and the way the camera spins around Max 360 degrees when he reloads is really cool! Graphics are great, and doesn't even require THAT much of your PC, unlike some other game...*cough* Halo *cough*.
Definitely worth the money.
Yup, I hear ya. They used efficient programming and optimization. Just like Hitman 2 or Freedom Fighters. Looks great and runs well on older systems. I wish more game developers would take notice, instead of releasing unoptimized code, that runs like crap.:mad:Quote:

Well I just finished the game. Damn that game was awesome. Granted it wasn't that long but still I loved every second of it. The new engine modofications are awesome and the addition of actual physics was good too. The ending almost made me cry :( j/k. It was sad though. The corniest thing that could've happened would've been hearing Max say "Damn you Vlad!!!" Those of you who have finished it would know what I'm talking about.
you also have to remember that with new high powered cards programmers get lazy and they figure the cards will carry the games and make up for their shyty programming. you get HL2 coming out and you will need a bare minimum 9700 and up to play it well, why? dx9? no...because they make it that way, look at microsoft...every couple years a new OS comes out, but it runs just as slow/fast as the last one because they are taking advantage of faster hardware so there really never is any upgrade! like minimum wage, it goes up? so do prices...theres no getting ahead, i think your right...programmers should make games run fast/smooth on last generation hardware, but then again they are probably getting paid by the GFX card makers to require heavy hardware so people have to upgrade in turn. conspiracy i say...conspiracyQuote:

Well I'm chiming in a little late but this is a Great Game! I've got it cranked at 1600*1200 with no loss of frame rate. It looks and runs so awesome and max and mona are hot. Just got to the lvl where you in control of mona! I was walking up the stairs and came to a glass door and threw a grenade as a guy was running for the door I ran back down the stairs (Bang, shatter, ooohhhh.) come up and the guy is laying dead doggy style on top of a chair.
Between this game, Deus ex 2 (got it tweaked and it looks/runs way better then xbox version) and Need 4 speed underground - I would say my upgrade was a worthy upgrade for a gaming rig since these graphics are better then anything on my xbox.
