OK the FX57 is past three years now. And about to be put to work doing mundane tasks on a workstation. The quad sli killed the board. Anyone want to take another shot at it before I put it out to stud?

I paid $125 Canadian for this CPU - probably the best deal I've ever had on a CPU. A dual core X2 with 6 megs of LVL3 cache and a default clock rate of 3.1GHz which unlocks to a quad core running at 3.7+ GHz with my modest Zalman CNPS 9500 cooler. NOTE: You must use a motherboard which can unlock this CPU's extra cores, like the Gigabyte in my sig. It may not unlock on other motherboards - do your research first before buying.
