Yes. This will really help Darryl Jackson get open more, especially as he get's healthier.Quote:

Do we have any Raider fans here? I hope not.

I wouldn't put much stake in anything that happens on opening day. The wins and losses count, but many teams take a few weeks to find their mojo.
No more of that out of you. The Ravens looked great on opening day, and now they're going to go totally undefeated and win the Super Bowl. :DQuote:

The Ravens have a hellofa team I think they are one of the best teams out there right now.Quote:

I also heard an interesting stat on the radio this morning - road teams were 11-5 this weekend, which is the most wins for road teams since something like '83, when they were 12-2. I don't remember if that was an opening day stat or if it was the best record for any weekend of the season, though.
Wow did the Raiders really get shut out last night? I fell asleep on the couch around halftime when the score was like 9-0 but I figured the Raiders would come back. That's a huge OUCH especially on your homefield.Quote:

Your use of the name "tomcat" just caused you to lose all credibility in my eyes.Quote:

I am a Raider fan in misery. I thought we might field a real team this year. Now I have 15 more weeks to watch my team get humiliated. I think some college teams could have beat em last night. So sad. So very sad.Quote:

They made Brooks take 5 step drops instead of 3 and refused to use a shot gun formation, resulting in 9 sacks while waiting for the receivers to run long routes instead of shorter ones. I was at the game last night and left after the 3rd quarter in total and utter disgust.
Oh and one more thing: if you don't have Sunday ticket you guys are missing out big-time. That thing rox! And no I don't work for directv, not that I'd benefit from this plug even if I did.
Well I am a Bucs fan thats pissed, but I don't think the Bucs are bad like the Raiders, just a really crappy opening day like the Patriots had a few years back. They got shut out opening day and still got to the super bowl and won. I don't think the bucs are super bowl bound, but I do think playoffs.
The raiders... I'm sorry, but they are just bad.
I was watching the game, and it was like... you have Randy Moss and you still can't get a first down!
randy moss aint sh** when a qb has no time to even look at him. i guess you could just snap the ball and immediately toss it to that freak though and I bet he'd get it :)

Jacksonville just might be the best team in the league,we just have to see how they do against the steelers. As for dallas, only chance they have is to get rid of bledsoe and put in romo.
pfft jacksonville has no run D
how big are NFL stadiums? are they the same size as football (UK) stadiums? like 60,000? I have a green bay packers cap, dont know them or anything but it looks good :D
