yea, i find the omega's to be much better for 2003 or 2001 with DX9 installed. i made a new run in 2003, http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=1206908
nothing much better than before, i might officially submit it if i get bumped.

Here is part of my benchmarking table that I fill out when I am benchmarking so I can see what changes had the most effects :)
2001 Stock Test:
----------------
Intel 2.8c (200x14) @ 1.55v w/ GA-8KNXP BIOS F6d
Corsair PC3500 2-2-2-5 1:1 (v2.7)
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 380/325
AGP/PCI Speeds: 66Mhz/33Mhz
CAT (varies) with DirectX 8.1
3DMark Priority - Normal
CAT 3.2 - 17740
CAT 3.4 - 17550
CAT 3.5 - 17665
CAT 3.6 DX 8.1 - 17599
CAT 3.6 DX 9.0 - 17616
CAT 3.6 DX 9.0b - 17436

Omega - DX 9.0 - 17568
Omega - DX 9.0a - 17584

The best is what I said... CAT 3.2 with DX 8.1 :)

hahah everyone but Colossus has a IC7-G mobo.. lol and i have the lowest clock for top 5, woot.. going to take my computer out in 10 mins, and start benchmarking again.. woot can't wait
don't you mean 2003 stock test?....those would be some pretty low 2001 scores  :DQuote:

Getting 1500 on a 9800Pro and a 2.8c was hard :D
1500? Try 6xx! (approx the minimum 3dmark2001SE score possible). 1500 is nothing that a good windowed, Realtime priority game running in the background won't fix... :DQuote:

Oh i bet, so many long nights of benching and tweaking...the blood, sweat, and tears of pushing your hardware back to 1999....:eek:Quote:

Hmm, I wonder what hardware people were using when somebody "BROKE 1000!!!!!!!!". :D
probably an 8mb geforce with a p2 300mhz....that's just my guess though ;)
No actually it is harder to push 1500 marks on a P4c then an AMD... You can change the multi easier then we can change the FSB... We cannot lower it that low otherwise the system wont even boot.. Go figure!!!Quote:

But yes, I believe it was SETI, Sandra, CPU at 150x14, video card like 275/250 or something like that.. Any lower the setup would crash and artifact badly!!! :)

I think when 2001 came out, geforce3's were getting ready to be released and people were going for 5k, even 6k with high end pentium3s overclocked to like 800MHz  (600e at 800eb) I broke 1k marks(1200 I think) on a geforce2mx and 550MHz celeron, I though that was da bomb!
Esh and Mike,
I'm almost over 20k! Can't seem to get these last 23 points though argh, maybe I'll whip out this ole 10 gb drive, do a clean install of win2k, put dx8.1 and cats 3.2, mayhaps I'll get it? ;)
Do it! 2001se doesnt care for HD speed... So it can be an older 10GB drive :)Quote:

So close to beating you Big C:D If I could only OC the card a little higher.
i can't break 20k in 2000 with dx 8.1 and cat 3.2's. i max out around 19.8k. i use windows XP with dx9 and omega 3.5's.Quote:

Colossus - i think CPU power makes a noticeable difference in '03. look the difference between our scores. you beat my in game one by a ton, but we're almost exactly tied in the other tests, and our video card clocks are about the same.
Today is the day of your redemption!
I am getting my new NF7-S today, along with possibly a goodie which shall go unnamed until I do or do not get it. :)
I'm going to do my best to mount my Prometeia onto this 9800 Pro, but since I have to use a coldplate, it might take a while. :( However, I'm got other avenues of video card cooling available to me for now (SLK-800+120mm Panaflo, etc :D).
Keep your fingers crossed!!
Dude, it's about friggin' time!:p Work on that badboy and put an AMD rig in #1 ;) :D (Not being too optimistic, am I?:p :D ) All you Intel dogs had better watch out, a new OC god has arrived!!!:D :D :D *ducks under bed fro cover*
today is truly a glorious day indeed.
Vert.. we Intel guys need you right about now...:( :o ;)
Nah, put an AMD in #1 xDuck! :D g-luck! :)
