The 2100's are OC'd a little and 2.53 is at 19/145. The Hammer seems to like 12/200. The 3.0s are are not OC'd, and the rest are servers.Quote:

have you tried clocking the oced ones down to stock speed?
Speed Check Update...
Prior to using the -forceSSE parameter I was getting 1.5%/hour on the progress meter. Now I'm getting 3.5%/hour. So my folding performance has more than doubled with the use of -forceSSE.
I can't wait to see how fast one of the xxx/250 or xxx/500 WU's go on my new 'tweaked' folder. :)
I'm now a happy folder, and look forward to screaming up the ranks of sharky's folding team.

thermo: what do you plan on doing with your xp3000's when summer comes since you won't be folding on them?
Why, they fold fine. Even in the heat. It's these damn 3000+ with Nix that keep crapping out. All 5 are refusing connections tonight. So once again I'll have to hook em to the KVM and see what their problem is.Quote:

But I have nothing against AMD.. I was actually looking at a small farm which has 10-20 AMD XP 2500 overclocked to XP 3200 speeds...
With TT Slient Boost to handle the overclock... and be quiet :) I have enough noise in the office!

heh, just joined one of my school computers. They stay on all the time. I'm also going to donate my home system and run it full bore, its only a 2.24 P4 though. Is this all about raw processor speed or does memory play a significant roll also?:confused:

Folding doesnt care about cache size or memory speed.. It cares about raw power...
Now SETI cares about cache size and raw power :)

Just not gonna fly around here! This crowd is much to tough. Nice, would have been an offer to pay the chiller bill. $175 a month should cover it.
My school computer is way too slow anyway so i just stopped it, my 2.24 has been cranking since 9pm last night. When i left this morning it was like 70% complete. How long does it take to do one of the proteins. It says like 1800/2500 WU when i left this morning.:confused: Oh and the optimizations are also on.:D
