Irvin - 12 seasons, avg 62 rec per season, 992 yards avg per season (crazy)

Monk - 16 seasons, avg 58 rec per season, 795 yards avg per season

Reed - 16 seasons, avg 59 rec per season, 824 yards avg per season

fairly close, reed being closer than monk... but I see what you are saying, if Irvin played 4 more years like those guys and was just as productive as he had been then he would have 248 more receptions for a total of 998, and 3,968 more yards for a total of 15,872

for perspective -

Rice - 20 seasons, avg 77 rec per season, 1144 yards avg per season
Career - 1,549 Rec, 22,895 Yards, 197 TD's

Brown - 17 seasons, avg 64 rec per season, 878 yards avg per season
Career - 1,094 Rec, 14,934 Yards, 100 TD's


these 2 guys are HOF locks!

this guy should be also, I think he is eligible next year?

Cris Carter - 16 seasons - 68 rec avg per season, 868 yards avg per season
Career - 1101 Rec, 13,899 Yards, 130 TD's

obviously Marvin Harrison is probably the most prolific...

11 seasons, 92.9 rec avg per season, 1245 yards avg per season
Career - 1,022 Rec, 13,697 Yards, 122 TD's

in 11 years!!!!! if he played like rice, for as long as Rice he would obliterate the record books.

I watched the Bills closely in the early 90's, he (and B. Smith) were some of my favorite players. A great pass catching RB if ever there was one, he deserved to get in.

yea i think if he bet on his team to lose then that would be a completely different story. That would be waay to easy to throw the game off that way. At least he bet to win i guess.

That first quarter was AWESOME to watch I dont care who you are that was a ton of fun. Then after that Grossman just basically lost the game thats all anyone needs to know. How can you throw a football over 10 YARDS short of your otherwise WIDE-OPEN reciever!?

All of the sudden, me leaning towards the Bears winning, but still predicting a Colts win doesn't sound so utterly crazy. :D

Also, Rhodes had a much better game than Manning, I wish he woulda punched in that last touchdown just so MVP would've been impossible to not give him.
