sorry to hear Colossus? A root canal? also your 21275 in your sig, didnt you get near 22k recently? also with a 2.4c most likley he will need to settle for mid 22k, even at 300fsb thats only 3.6GHz I dont see anyone breaking 24k on that, maybe on a r420 :D and Colossus, at least you dont have to waste on a radeon9900 pro, just wait till the r420 "Loci" arrives, you may break 25k then :)

yea, however I will still try more ti4200s and see if I can get my hands on a cheap stick of 256mb ram. Im bidding on a stick of hyperX pc3500 now but ill probably pay $55 tops for it. I hope that thing does at least 206fsb at 2-2-2-6 timings. Yes I realize thats 10MHz below stock, but ive heard of several cases of ram not doing stock anyway and no im not running cas3. otherwise Ill just wait till 2005 and grab an athlon 64 cheap and perhaps a better ti4200, like an albatron at 330/660+ clocks and go strait for 20k marks :D

Dissaster has struck!! Last night was a nightmare for me. As you guys know I have my CPU, GPU and NB watercooled. Well the NB cooler is attached using a clip that hooks through the little hooks on the MB. Last night I was sitting watching a movie and all of the sudden I see a metal flash go accross the room. I jump up and look and I see it's my NB clip. So I llok inside my case and see the NB cooler just hanging there above my VC. I go to grab it and it slips and touches my VC. Well pop goes the 9800P. I guess the metal of the WB shorted something on my card cause it doesn't work anymore. I am trying to get it fixed or RMA's locally and we will see how that goes. Don't look like I am going for 23K anytime soon:( Atleast i hade this 9700 to throw in here:D

Thanks, but it is due to not having insurance :D I was never the doctor visiting person so I never got insurance with my business.. I figured the premium was more then anytime I would visit the doctors.. So I always opted not to get it.. So this is all 100% non insured dentist visits... One root canal cost me almost $500 which doesnt include the crown :( I havent decided on gold or just metal yet...
I am going to take it easy... I spent enough on computer parts to last a little bit even if I am not #2 anymore :( But I am still happy with my score...
TB: I did score closer to 22k then 21275 but I havent uploaded it. I would have to mount install the 3DMark drive to pull the score off.. I wasnt going to upload anyscore until I broke 22k but that didnt happen...

Ranger: That sucks... I know how it feels to lose a 9800Pro... I killed my first 9800Pro with pushing it to hard... I never knew I could the video card... But it didnt work days later :( I still have it sitting on my desk :)
I am pretty sure I am going to come out of this alright. I use one store here in Korea for all the computers I build for other people. I have spent like 30 grand in the last year with these guys and they generally try and take care of me. They are going to RMA through the wholesaler and either get my card fixed, or get me a new one:D
Sorry to hear you need this dental work done. I am sure one of these days i will be right there with you needing a lot of work. I will probably get all my stuff done before I leave the military in 2005. That way atleast I don't have to pay for anything.

how long would that take? at least you could hold onto 3rd place longer that way. You could get dropped off the top 5 with that 21275 score :( I would bother but I could not get even 14703 to beat Ignitator :( Lets hope I win that stick of ram then I could get as much as 15,500 if I luck out with my fsb and ram :D and if I get an albatron ti4200 at 320/650+ I could break 16k but its all wishful thinking now :( but man imagine 16k on an amd rig on a ti4200 that would be insanely fast, faster than some of you guys radeon9700s :eek:

Sorry to hear it, Ranger. :( I recently saw some sparkage with my motherboard (after it died). I was trying to find out if it'd give me any beeps when I take out the CPU, vid card, RAM, etc (to find out if the motherboard was really the culprit). Anyway, no beeps, so I'm sliding my speaker wire off of the speaker headers, I slip, and WHAMMO! white sparks fly. Board still worked, though. :) (well, it was still "dead", but no deader than before :)).
As for my 9800 Pro... I've pushed that sucker so damn hard, it's a wonder she's not dead... :)

not really but a highly oced ti4200 might match a stock 9700 pro without aa/af in 3dmark and *some* games but not all. Plz search futuremark, theres a bunch of guys breaking 17k, even 18k on ti4200s those suckers are really fast if you can tweak them properly. sure a 9700 might be a bit faster but its the whole fun in making the little guy eat the big guy, really does good on my ego when I eat 9700s :D

But those 4200 scoring 17k is compared against a stock 9700Pro!!!! So how can you compare a STOCK 9700Pro vs a extremely overclock/vmod 4200????
All one has to do it push the 9700Pro and it will toast the 4200 :)

the highest score is 23.5k on a 9700 pro and if he had a ti4200 he could probably break 20k. There is a difference, about 3k marks between the two and the 9700 pro is like 50-66% faster in games without aa/af provided you use em on equal speed cpus and you run 1600x1200 :) so instead of 60fps I get 100fps, blah :)
