Here is what I have so far. I haven't overclocked the card yet. I don't know if I ever will since it was $$ and I'm afraid of frying it.

CPU - AMD 2500+@3200+ 2.2GHz 400MHz FSB, 11x200, All stock voltages

Motherboard - Abit NF7-S ver2.0

RAM - Geil Golden Dragon 3500, stock voltage, 400Mhz

Video card - ATI, 9800NP, stock voltage, stock speed.

Operating system - Win2k

Cooling - Aero 7+, stock VC cooling

When I finally do overclock the VC do I just email you with updates?

Yeah Pryro started the team and made a site on AngelFire. Then I paid for professional hosting and redesigned the site to be database driven.

Now we both share in the job of updating everyones scores.:)


And to everyone else. Go to the team site and check the rules section. It will answer all of your questions.:)

Yes ram timings affect scores. Try to make them as tight as possible.

Depends on how much tighter you can make them; the more important numbers are the first two, CAS and tRCD(RAS to CAS delay).

That's the first time I updated someones score where it dropped a little bit!:)

However, that's a damn nice score for a computer you can fit in a shoebox.

I'd like to get one of those Shuttles.:)

Ummm the only score that I had higher was an AMD score...this was an Intel score...I hope you didn't drop that one? ;)
EDIT Just checked the page and you did delete my AMD score?!?
Are we not allowed to have an AMD and an Intel rig score on the site??

Yes we have changed the rules. Only 1 system per person.

We have so many people now constantly updating scores that trying to keep track all of the different systems is too tedious.

So now we are asking that people only submit the system that they want in the database.

The other reason for asking this is to keep people from monopolizing multiple areas of the database.

For example, with my system, I could take all of my vid cards and cycle through them in my main rig and take the top spots for many video classes.

It's not really fair to the guys with slightly slower sytems. It's nice to let different people be #1 in their own category and so far it has worked out well. So now we ask that that each person submit 1 score only.


I can put back your AMD score if you would like. But I no longer have the info. If you resubmit it, I will put whatever score you like.:)

Not a problem and I understand what you're saying, but I don't agree with it. I have three different rigs with one vid card for each one...I don't "cycle" cards between rigs. The AMD rig if you noticed had a TI4600 on it and this Intel rig had a Ti4800.
Do me a Favor Vertices, take me down off the site altogether, I'll join the 3DMark team at another Forum where I post when my new parts come in tomorrow (865 chipset mobo, new vid card, etc.)

No problem. I understand. You are deleted. I'm not saying you do cycle cards. I'm just saying it is a possibility for anyone to do it.

I also ask that people understand how much hard work me and Pyro put in to even having the site at all. I update so many scores every day and if we start adding multiple systems for each person it will get way out of hand.

As it is, I don't see another database out there for a 3DMark team that is more comprehensive than ours besides the ORB itself.;)
