Abarine probably has a life I think, he does have a kid to take care of I believe. Either way the Browns will suck this year so he has nothing to look forward to :p
Panthers look good so far this year, I want to get tickets to see one of their games. They've got a solid defense, and the addition of Keyshawn Johnson will open up the passing game, not to mention Deangelo Williams looks great so far in preseason.
I'm going to a 49ers game next month :).

Having been a recent student at Texas Tech, Wes Welker is my hero. You guys don't ever want to cut him.

Looks like Philly has given Pinky permission to get traded. Maybe Branch after all? After last year, the Eagles probably feel the need to shake things up a bit. That would be a nice pair of wr's, too.

I watched it. I am a Raider fan. I was bummed Walters was hurt again and didn't play. I think he is the wild card. He could be great. I know Tui isn't gonna work out. Don't really like Brooks. But I thought everything was going the right direction until the signing of Jeff George. Does Davis want to sign James Jett as a reciever as well? It is insane. The Raiders are not going to carry 4 quarterbacks. Are they getting rid of Tui? Or is Walters gonna be traded? Jeff can probably throw a tight spiral still. Its just that in the past, he threw a great spiral at anything that moved on the field. Mostly the other team.

I think the special teams is better. I think the defense is starting to tackle. But they still need more pressure on the quarterback.

Ps Variox, your from San Diego and your a Raider fan? The 1st monday night game should be fun. Especially cause Rivers looks lost still.

I certainly have doubts if he will be a nfl quarterback. He willed college wins. But he was running over and thru college defenders. He will find the pros harder. Plus he can't throw all that well. Plus his playbook was reduced. Not a good sign for the pros. Pro quarterbacks need to be smart and read the defence. I think he will get his chance and blow it. I think Culter was this drafts steal. VY will sell tickets and make a few good runs, thats about all. I think that Volek will start and flounder. Next they will try Collins. If the season gets off to a bad start, they will give VY the start to see if he improves. It will be a disaster. There best hope is Collins, which is to say , they are probably ****ed.

There is a lot of talk going around that Volek will get traded, which probably means Collins will be the starter. Young could be a bust as a QB, or he could be totally incredible, but at the very least I think he is a few years away from starting.

According to NFL 'insiders', the Jets and Seahawks are fighting over Branch right now. They say both teams are pitching the kind of money that Branch wants, but New England wants 2 first round picks to trade him. ::eyes

JeBus, John Abraham didn't even fetch two firsts. If this doesn't go down, NE will have one disgruntled wr on their hands. We'll know in about an hour.

Jeff George was cut today by the Raiders. Comeback is over before it started, I guess.

Just wondering, does every one still think that the AFC is miles ahead of the NFC?

I'd say they have a higher number of very good teams, but also a higher number of absolute stinkers.

Charles Rogers got cut. Number 2 overall pick.
