Oh, and another question. How come I get killed when it's a duel between a M416 and an AK-74SU? We both have magnum ammo and I start shooting first. I thought the assault rifle (416) was supposed to be more powerful than the sub-gun (74SU)...
Getting shot through a sand dune is also very frustrating.

When you compare the two weapons mentioned, you will see that at shortrange they are identical.
(slightly less spread on the AKS even)
Well, ok. In real life they'd be about even (5.56mm vs. 5.45mm) so it's not a big deal.
The biggest problem I have with the game is the damn browser. A server might have 10 open slots but when I try to connect it says that it's full. I tried the 'Play Now' deal 20 straight times last night and it always said 'the server is full'. I can see that happening a few times, but for Christ's sake the thing should try different servers. They can't all be full.
That and the network connection and crash to desktop problems are getting worse, not better. It really sucks when you're on a 5-kill streak and the server crashes. There are a couple of occasions where I've missed out on a Combat Efficiency or Assault Rifle Efficiency pin because of this. Not to mention all the times I've just been dropped from a simply good game.
Oh, and I started playing as Medic and I really like it. You can soak up a lot of points by dropping med kits at big fire fight points. I've done that somewhat with ammo in the assault class, but people seem to be more interested in those med kits than more ammo.
I have been out of town for a week, haven't played. Give it some time, they will get it all sorted out.
Same happened to bf2, took them a while to get the game up and running smoothly.
I agree the browser is slow, not showing ping times is annoying. Best thing to do is when you have ping times and enjoy a server mark them as a favorites.
Make sure you get 10+ servers in your favorite server list. It will load in seconds and 90% of the time you will find a server with good ping to play on.
It is not ideal but works very well.
The CTD are annoying and hope they get a fix for that. They are the cleanest crashes I have ever seen. I am playing, CTD and computer is running like it was never running a demanding 3d application. real strange.
Couple more days and we get new maps.
Having a ton of fun in the game even though I die a lot.
Anyone else not getting credit for vehicles lately? Maybe I hit the max but I doubt it.
Played with Learux tonight...that sounds bad...
I think I've gotten better since the last time we played, I'm pretty sure I revived his *** a few times.

I'm a noob but how does voice work in this game, do you need a seperate program running?
Also I'm slowly learning to stick with squadmates instead of running, lone-wolf style, after spawning.
