I get about 1900 in 3dmark2001SE. System specs:

Athlon 1.4 (running at 1050 due to mobo restricions)
Chaintech 7AJA2E
Voodoo 5500
128mb pc-133 ram
Seagate Baraccuda 20.4gig 7200rpm
SBLive Platinum
few other bits and bobs...

My best score with a Voodoo5 5500 is 2627 http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=2033222

That's with my V5 at 177MHz on a 1.5GHz Athlon XP @ 143MHz bus.

That's with my system at 1.4GHz without overclocking. I did some tests and the 1.15 Voodoo5 BIOS is the fastest.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll get more once I get a new (probably kt333) motherboard and can run the processor at its proper speed, with a 266 fsb and some DDR ram. It'll hopefully breath a little more life into my system. That Voodoo's a hungry hungry card, just gobbles up the processor.

Sorry, meant 133 fsb - Current mobo only does 100.

R8500's long dead, mystif. It died right before I got to vmod it. :(

64MB R8500, it died the night before I got my ramsinks and thermal adhesive in.

Yup, now I'm trying to decide if I want to ride out this Voodoo 3 3000 that I'm on right now until I get my R9700 or get a ti4600 and turn around and sell it for $200 once R9700 comes out.

Just a warning; If you get a Ti4600 (MSI would be the best choice) you may not want to go back to ATI after using it. You may just wait for the next Nvidia card... who knows, I am. Once you realize the Nvidia card won't die after loads of overclocking you just might not go back. Just a warning ;)

I'll take my chances. :D
I'm thinking I'll just wait. I'll have my cooling finished by the time I get my R9700. It'll have it's socket hsf waiting to be mounted on the gpu along with ramsinks and 100 extra CFM. :D
