ahhh... Well Linux has a better memory management then Windows.. So it is kinda pointless to reboot... :)Quote:

Oh you ment the nix boxes. The servers are all 2K or 2Kas. I reboot the nix boxes to make sure I can VNC in. After folding for a few days they will refuse connections. I can do it by hand, but after 9 hours of LAN hell and 150 miles of traffic, I just don't always feel like messing with them at night
Understandable.. There are days that I come home from a client that I dont even want to hear a cpu fan spinning! The sight of my home office would make me sick...
But that is an odd problem...
I am not a detective but I think someone is helping Saps. What do you think Thermo? A quick check of whos production dropped when Saps increased would yield a list of who might be helping him. To bad I don't have time to check it out.Quote:

Well, sapasion did not have the use of computers he was using at work for folding over the holidays and now he does. I guess that would account for his increase in WU production.Quote:

yeah, he did mention that a couple of times. unfortunately, it's not easy to find info like that in a 183 page thread. :pQuote:

If you check history Saps is at double production what he was in the middle of December. I just think its funny that Thermo's score started dropping same time Saps started going up. baaa forget if. I am one of those conspearcy nuts I guess.
My production is off because I have not got several of my systems folding. The Hammer is off demo'ing SBS, and one of my DC's (p4-2.0) is running a load simulation test. The test involves one of client systems too (XP2100). And what the 3000+'s are doing is anybodys guess. I have not had time to deal with them in over a week. AFAIK, only two of them are still producing results.Quote:

If you do the math, I think you will find that I am off by more than Sapps is up.
Uh oh... mynameis will be passing me soon! I need to step up production!!!!!
Position 74, guys.
And according to EOC, we'll hit 73 in another 4 hours (give or take...)
::cool:
As of now, my main rig will no longer be folding, but my other computer will be folding 24/7, until the summer heat hits.
What is your folding name?Quote:

We appear to be moving up on quite a few teams;)
OK, for all of you doubting Tom's out there, I got some systems back on line. I have realized that VIA+Nix+Folding+Headless=Hopeless :( Today I did 281, tomorrow it will be more. So watch Saps and see if he holds his production. A point of order here, he is 9th now. Seems he is moving up and not being bumped down the list. Long live the King Shark!
Can anyone make client 3.25 available to download? I cannot find it on Stanford anymore.. And I want to see if downgrading the client would fix the problem I am having :(
I can pass Prime95 for 2 hours... But cannot pass 2 steps in F&H
Damn, now Im down to just my 2.6 laptop folding. Hopefully my AMD will be back in the next couple of days and my Intel by the end of next week.
Hopefully.
you can get the other ones here, too: :)Quote:

Ha I finally got my main machine back up and running today after three weeks, a flood almost ruined it and I just got the drywall back up in my room :(. Luckily I was in 40th position and now only 52nd so not a major drop and I will have 1ghz more by the end of the week so hopefully I will be atleast to where I was sometime soon.
Well I decided to do a clean sweep and try out the 4.0 client what tags should I be running with this version? (Tbred 2400+)
Ohh, it will be awhile before I catch him, if ever, with his new Barton and my Pentium-M being out of it alot due to school, I may never.Quote:
