We'll give you what you want". The tax payers are still paying on the costs of the renovations to Oakland Coliseum, renovations that really only included luxury sky boxes from what I can tell (it's still really ugly). The city also guaranteed sellout crowds for the first 7 years if I remember right. Of course during that time the raiders sucked so attendence was down forcing the city to pick up the tab on purchasing extra seats.
LA doesn't have a football team yet as the city can't decide where to put the stadium. The NFL wanted a team in there by 2008, but obviously that won't happen. It would appear more then anything that the city doesn't really care if they have a team or not.

LA Coliseum is the place! just spend $300 mill and renovate it to top notch or something.
edit: if the Raiders played at the LA Coliseum where did the Rams play? same place?
Has happened before, but it wouldn't work now under the way its setup.Quote:

If I remember right, they played in Anaheim. They shared a stadium w/ the (then) California Angels.Quote:

Only if they add a team. If they move a current team to LA, they may have to rearrange some divisions, but the overall number of teams would stay the same.Quote:

Hard to judge one guy out of the O line by himself when the line is so freaking bad as a whole imo. I guess we'll see how good he really is if they ever put together any semblance of even an average offense.Quote:

Shell had Gallery play a different position then what he was used to(I don't remember specifically if it was tackle or guard as I didn't follow the Raiders closely after the first half of the season) for reasons no one really knows. Then he got hurt for a bit.Quote:

Oh man that sux. He was supposed to be the next Pace or something. If they moved him to RT then guard, that is not a good sign.Quote:

Michael Irvin is no longer with ESPN. This news doesn't surprise me at ALL.
