Minecraft, awesome one man game project

It's a great game, I'm sure... but when I tried to pull the trigger, it was showing $27!! o.O Really?!
Anyone know cheaper way to get it (I'm guessing not since it's 1-man project)?! Otherwise, I'm gonna pass...

It started as a 1-man project, but it isn't anymore! In fact, the guy who started it isn't even working on the game anymore.

wow $27 really? im glad i got in on it when it was a $10 alpha

dont think i would pay $25+ for it now

Have they fixed any of the glaring issues the game has yet? Particularly the dreadful AI

Not sure what AI would have been dreadful. Creepers creep, zombies zomb, skeletons skel. It's all there.

The Minecraft documentary just come out. It'll be played this weekend for free on Xbox live to gold members. Reviews looks really good.

I haven't bothered to log in because I didn't know how many recipes and achievements there were, what time the server was started, the default game type, how long it took, or how to get help.
