My main rig has run over 150 WU`s in a row, wihout a problem and once I found out the problem with my 1600+ which had nothing to do with the WU`s I have not had a problen yet. I did get one WU` that stopped and said it could not continue, but I`ve had a lot more of the same ones and had no problem running them at all.Quote:

I have lock ups several times a week on my three AMD systems (only one O/C'd) -- on the 11 Intel machines I've got folding, I've never had a problem with a single WU. Good to hear that they're working on a solution.Quote:

Sorry for being a little off topic. Cancer hit my family this week as my grandfather past away on Tuesday and we had the funeral today :( Hopefully folding will help someone in the future so they do not have to suffer the same fate.

About this AMD systems having problems...:confused: Very strange....

I noticed I got a 71 point, time eating tinker yesterday. Is F@H forcing them now because no one is running them voluntarily. It looks like all my tags are still correct. What's up with this?

Yep...my poor laptop has been crunching on one all weekend.:(

i dunno why you all are getting so many tinkers....5 of my 6 folding machines have gromacs units right now, and 3 of those 5 are relatively new units, meaning i just started crunching them.

I won't delete the Tinker WU. It's kind of like the saying "Fat girls need love too" :D:D
Somebody's gotta do the Tinkers too. Personally I think everyone should fold them. It's not all about the points you know. The real goal is curing diseases. Fold the Tinkers, I do.;):)

No, no new pics of my setup. The room is no longer as messy and some of the PC's are now retired. I'm actually bored of my current main PC and looking to do a full change soon. I'm probably gonna go phase for the CPU and go back to water for the GPU. I'm not doing any volt mods though.:) Who knows though I might just go all the way back to air. I just need a change.:)
All my components are new but the rest is old. Except I did get rid of that Raptor and running 2 Maxtor 160GB SATA drives in RAID 1.
One of these days I'm gonna update the pics in my link.:)
I got a set of those 160GB Maxtors in RAID0 too.. Along with 200GB in RAID0... They are nice.. But loud at first.. I think they needed to be broken in...

I know what you mean about a change... I have been looking around for something new... But I dont know what... So I bought that big butt case (in case mod section, take a look) to mod and play around with.. Comes with a sweet dual 400w Antec Redundant power supply...
I am also looking at a dual 3.06Ghz xeon for my home to take advantage of that large case... With a 9800XT... and 2GB of ram...
