Not even just that, but because I am using pressure plates, it means mobs can open it if they chase you to the door.
I created a night render of the map: http://www.darksavior.net/~minecraft/ (You can click normal or night render in the top right of the screen)
It makes for interesting viewing, You can see the trails of people as they ran planting torches, etc.
In other news, I'm nearly finished with the main base, meaning it's actually useful for people (I.e. stuff isn't built on the protected spawn area anymore.)

I am back from vacation and I went ahead and activated the end portal. All we need now is to gear up and set a date for some dragon slaying. Let me know when you guys want to do it.
James, something seems to be up with the server - a bunch of us have been trying to play but it's lagging badly. Might just need a reboot.
Oh, and I didn't fall asleep by the zombie spawner this time. :)
