cool. I just got an email today to get on teamspeak and grab my Medal of Honor beta code that started today for PC from combat testing..the group that does the beta for DICE's games that I happen to be a part of.

I picked up Undercover for 5 bucks. Not as bad of a game as everyone says. I didn't expect much, but it does provide typical NFS gameplay. The pacing is great as well, no races are longer than around 5 minutes and so far the AI doesn't seem to cheat.
I bought Dead Space. I was thinking at 9.99, that's pretty much the same price as renting it so it's not a bad deal. I already have mirror's edge, but I don't remember if I paid 7.99 last Christmas or not. If I did, oh well!

Picked up ME2 for $24. The extra $12 they want for the deluxe edition just wasnt worth it. Theyd have to do better than a couple in game weapons and a comic book for that much.
Just beat NFS Undercover, it was well worth that 5 dollars. Not a groundbreaking game but something about it got me hooked and made me want to keep playing until the end. It probably was a combination of the great pacing (no race over 5 mins), diverse events, corny story, and fun gameplay. I don't know why it got so much flak, although it is not worth a full priced purchase it was still a lot of fun.
I just looked that game up. Now I wish I bought it. It has Maggie Q. She's imo one of the most attractive girls. She plays Chase Linh. She also has a new TV show called Nikita.
Aside from that, there's a character named Zack Maio. He's Jessica Alba's brother in real life.
Did not buy anything, but the ads were enough to make me want to go through Dragon Age again.
I only bought two games, Undercover and Dead Space. I will probably start Dead Space tonight. Undercover was well worth it.
Lol I escaped without buying any:)
24 hour Deux Ex sale for its 10th birthday. $2.50 each, $5 for the package deal.
Never played the sequel, is it worth it?
I'd say the sequel gave me $2.50 in fun. It wasn't fantastic and didn't live up to the original (so I've heard for the second part), but was kind of cool.
never played the original. picked it up this morning.
Any graphical mods or tweaks that i should be looking for?

Just downloaded all the stuff last nite (one mod is like 900mb), havent installed anything yet but Ill try it tonite.
Deus Ex Invisible War was dumbed down for consoles. This is a real problem when you take a game which was all about being clever and making wise choices. The developers thought they could cut out about 80% of the intelligence of the first game to make something that would appeal to the console kiddies.
The result was the steaming pile which is Deus Ex Invisible War.
Modern consoles don't have many hardware limitations - yet games tend to be significantly less involved than those developed for the PC.
For instance, I bought Dead Space. The XBox 360 has a hard drive, so why can't you save the bloody thing? The only answer is the target audience.
Cool... CS:S is on sale for all you Mac owners. Great game
I liked The Invisible War. ::shrug::
Nowhere near the class of the first game in the series, obviously, but I think it gets a worse rap than it deserves because it IS a sequel to one of the greatest games ever. It certainly does have its flaws, I admit, but I think if it had any other name on the box it would not be seen as the steaming pile of crap that most seem to think it is; Take Deus Ex out of the title and imho it would at LEAST have been considered to be on the good side of average, maybe better.
