Finallly, I have an excuse to run 3dmark again! :p
And you guys, just watch... I'll get my #2 back with this EXACT same setup... no changes in the hardware... nor the cooling... ;). I refuse to spend another red cent on this PC... only to continue the game of "whos *%^$& is bigger" that we have here on SF ;). I dont think it's worth it... if I make/stay in the top two with my current setup, then cool... and if I dont... then cool. :). Becuase of course... who cares right? ;) :D
no way soo much movement in the top 5.. you guys make me wanna get back into this race.. wait till the end of the month.. i'll break 21k.. i can do! I CAN DO IT!
But the thing is I didnt change anything :) I didnt even install my new mobo!!! Now that is awesome! I am maxed out at 250fsb with only 1.60v so I would need some more juice to really make that proc shine :)Quote:

what score you shooting for? i'm soon going to be submitting my own score with my 4200. i still need more time so i can fully go all out on my oc and what not. i'm shooting for 15k. i think i MIGHT be able to hit that, but it's going to be a stretch (big one) and i might need some extra cooling...guess i will just have to see! :) good luck!Quote:

My head is spinning. I basically have to learn everything from CCNA in like 2 weeks plus even more. IPSEC, 3DES, ACLs, L2TP, PAP, CHAP, PPPoE, PPPoA, hashing algorithms, pre-shared keys....I could go on forever. Setting up multisite VPN networks using all Cisco equipment over DSL and T1s is quite the B1tch. I got much learning to do and just not much time to do anything else as I got to get this stuff down pat ASAP. I also got to get PVC's with frame relay down pat and haven't even started on that yet.

Hey Big C, how's your CCNA studies coming? I'm gettin a frickin crash course beyond all belief over here and I gotta go buy a book and a PIX 501 to round out the edges. I know you're learning the same thing right now. Any books you can recommend?:)
I am rather enjoying a study guide I bought from CBTNuggets.... Its nice to see the commands and practice along...
But they are pricey :(
I dont give a crap about cost right now. I'm buying a PIX 501 just for me to bang away on and that's $350 at it's best. I'm lookin for a really good (latest edition 3.0) Cisco book to help me on my travels.:)Quote:

I`m going for as high as I can get it, the thing is on my other MB a KT400, I was able to get my 4200 upto 305/645 on my Nforce MB I can only get it upto 306/635.Quote:

It was cooled with a special device :D But still air cooled :D :D

F2 Temps = GPU Core

Btw - a deskfan wouldn't lower ambient temps, but you can bet a 500 CFM blowing at your mobo from a foot away would kick ***... I saw a desk fan on sale at Future Shop a couple weeks back for $42 - it was so strong you had to wince and it felt like you were in a car going 140kph! :eek:
