I assume you are having to use a 5/4 divider to run 257 fsb? With that divider you are only running your ram at PC3200 speeds and are not seeing the benifit of your PC3500. You really only have 2 options; get your fsb much higher, or buy some PC4200 and run a 1/1 divider.Quote:

Some reason SCDDR (on my older board) even kicks the AMD DCDDR... Odd... I would hoped that AMD would score higher then that!

Yes and No... I am running at DDR415 (250FSB x 1.66).. So I am almost at DDR433 speeds... I just need to get the core higher... But with only 1.60v it wont go past 250FSB... I need to probably use 1.65v or 1.70v then I should be closer to 4GHz on air!!!Quote:

I might get new ram... But I like Corsair alot... The problem is the board... When I am at stock FSB with 1:1 and 2-2-2-5 settings... I am only scoring around 4700 on Sandra... So hopefully Gigabyte will release a better BIOS... But their track record sucks for release!

And yes, I do know that P4's and Athlons have totally different voltage handling... No lecture required. :p :D
Hopefully they do fix you up with a new BIOS or you can try the IC7-G out:D
You know I forgot to tell you guys this. It's a little off topic, but here goes. Today was a pretty sad day for my unit here in Korea. I assume you guys saw the news about the C-12 crash over here. Sadly, those two pilots were from my unit. They were only one office down from mine. I have seen them everyday for a long time and now they are just gone. It really sucks:(

I did try the IC7, which I did NOT like... I dunno, it was an older BIOS and the lack of a NIC was quite annoying! I have a IC7-G on standby here but I am not ready to move over to a new board... just yet :D
why, I might have a chance of getting close to 15K, when I get my new ram and open this system up, I am right now at 14256, running my system at a 170fsb, I don`t know if I can get the 744 more points I need with a 200 or more fsb which I hope to get with good ram and my cpu at 2.6ghz or higher. I was only saying that the lower classes should also be reconized for what they do too, but I guess it will never happen. I might be reconized if I take over the 1st place slot for the 4200`s and I have a good chance to do that. well thats the last I`m going to say on this subject. dont worry man, I care. Nice score, excellent overclock, I am jealous of your ram clock, my ram maxes at 590 and its 3.3ns too. thats just sad. do you think ramsinks would matter that much? I mean it does come with ramsinks, but if I use bigger sinks or something? I may also v mod the ram, but first im gonna work on the core. Lemmie give ya a tip, try rivatuner and set lodbias to 3, this will slightly increase the nature and dragothic fps, giving ya like another 100 marks but making the image quality bad however. also if you go from 170fsb to 210, you should gain 800 marks, easily putting ya at 15k. as for me, ill probably get to like 14500 after a v mod to teh core. I dont have dual channel
