It's like a squad based Torchlight Fallout set in post apocalyptic Sweden to take the bad taste of Diablo III out of your mouth.
It has apparently been patched a TON and all the problems people had with it back when reviews were coming out have been fixed. I've heard from a few places that the reviews don't really reflect the product as it currently stands.
I heard this too. The game sounds pretty interesting; I picked it up as well.
Damn, the Crusader Kings II trailer makes a pretty good case for a purchase.
I am torn with Crysis 2, Magicka and Fear 3. I haven't played any of them or their prequels.
FEAR 2 was a bit of a let down, so I assume FEAR 3 is more of the same. I'm thinking about picking up insanely twisted shadow planet today. I may still get Krater. Alan Wake: American Nightmare will probably be on my list as well, I bet the proper game and I've heard the American Nightmare is a decent play through.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet was one I was waiting to see go on sale. Yoinked.
Grabbed portal 2 as flash sale this morning for my son. I haven't bought anything for myself yet.
This is probably the most I've ever spent on a sale, but thankfully these are all games I wanted to play and just didn't feel like paying full price for. The damage so far:
Max Payne 3
Anno 2070
Vessel
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Spec Ops: The Line
Fallout: New Vegas
Crusader Kings II
Driver: San Francisco
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
This weekend is going to be fun! Also I love how I can remotely install games from the Steam app.
I've been saving the "last" $5 in my Steam wallet for Batman: AA (for $5, not for the $6.33 or whatever it was earlier in the sale).
And for and Mass Effect and maybe Sim City 4 if it shows up again. :p
I'm not looking for any others specifically at the moment but that doesn't mean I won't find anything. ;)
I was telling myself the last time that Dear Esther was on sale that I wouldn't buy it then but I WOULD buy it if it got repeated, and it looks like it just got repeated as a flash deal. Still waffling a bit but I'll probably pick it up.
Mainly just don't want to get a game I'll only play for 2 or 3 hours and then have clogging up my library until the end of time but honestly that "too much useless stuff in the list" ship set sail so long ago it's circumnavigated the globe multiple times at this point. :D
