And after you update that score. I decided to go ahead and take the 03 Crown as well. :D

Sorry again.....I just realized my mem was at 4:5 instead 3:4. :D

I got this 9700 Pro up to 475mhz with only my MCW50. I dont even have the pelt on it. I'll switch back to my MCW50-T as soon as my 9800 gets here and see what that baby will do! :D
Sweet 19K!!!!
master? Bahahaha!!! :p :D Just kiddin', it will be awesome to have you near the top Sharky 3dmarkers again. ;)Quote:

vertices and others, I've received afew PMs and emails with new scores. I will update the datebase tonight.
vertices, can't wait to see your score with a 9800 Pro.
As for me, my next upgrade will most likely be a BH7 and 2x256 Corsair 3500C2. That should allow me to easily hit 19k with the same overclocks. The BH7 would give a ~300 point increase over my old 845E mobo. Purchasing the PC3500C2 should allow me to switch the memory settings from 2-3-3-6 to 2-2-2-5 which should give around a ~400-500 point increase.
You wont get that high with just a new mobo :)
Maybe with a Canterwood, but that does sound a little high.
It wouldn't be with just a new mobo. It would be with a new mobo and 2x256 Corsair PC3500C2 while would allow more aggressive memory settings. Previous memory timings from 2-3-3-6 to 2-2-2-5.Quote:

When I stated easily...I meant barely. :)
I dont really notice a difference between 2-2-2-5 vs. 2-3-3-6 when it comes to 3DMarks :(
I have PC3500 but when I benchmark with my 2.4Ghz I need to downsize to 1:1 mem timings since my mem cannot handle DDR490 :( even with 1 stick...
I wish you luck :)
Whatever score you get, will be beaten when I finish my water cooling and my Gigabyte Canterwood board comes in :) :D
Doh, well I got those point guestimates off of afew mobo reviews. Oh well...
Main reason why I chose this upgrade is because I could probably sell my current mobo, Asus PB533-E which sales for $154 at newegg.com, and have enough if not alittle extra to get the BH7. I also need more ram anyways for these newer games. I don't want to mix match my current ram so I'm going to sell this PC3200C2 256mb stick and grab 2x256 PC3500C2's sticks just incase I do dual memory down the line.
I'm going beyond watercooling now. :)Quote:

I still wish you luck :) And keep those high scores coming.. I need something to aim at :)
However it seems that vertices blew us both away... But If I can overclock my video card like he does, I would blow any score of his away :) :D
I need to finish my water cooling setup.. I already have 1/2 of it if not more.. Just need my heatercore and my swiftech gpu cooler to come in :)
That Vapochill case wont help much with you :)Quote:

But we shall see :) :D I do have one sweet freaking 2.4Ghz chip :)
However a Vapochill case with my 2.66Ghz might be nice for the 1.850 I might need to get over 165FSB :)

Same to you. :)

Hes got one hella 9700 PRO. 440 with no vmods, 475 no pelt. I don't think I can beat that. I may, just may be able to hit 450.

So what did you decide for your final w/c components? I'd like to see how high that C1 of yours can go now.
Dude, I hope I can snag that Vapo PE. For that price its a steal...Quote:

I'm also having a garage sale soon just so I can get some money together to purchase some new parts. :D
I am almost maxed out on my P4PE board... Its FSB maxes out at 200Mhz FSB :(
So that is bad :(
I want to pin mod my 2.4Ghz for a few extra vcore :) I would like to be able to hit 1.9v or so.. Since I have ran it at 1.850v....
I dont think it will be able to go any higher then 200fsb.. I just dont think it is there... I have my cpu alarm set for 65c so if it hits 65c it would give off an annoying beep :P But even benchmarking at 199fsb it doesnt even go off... I wanted to make sure it was well below the throttle down temp :)
But my video card has much more to go.. I can only hit 380/330 which is pretty bad for a 9700Pro.. So I hope that when my water cooling setup is complete, I should do 430/350 easily and score around 19.5 and when my Canterwood arrives I am hoping for 20.5K atleast...
But who knows! Atleast the Canterwood offers a 4:3 and 5:4 throttle down for the mem incase you want a higher fsb that the memory cannot handle :)
So far I have:
Swiftech MCW5000 (already have)
Swiftech MCW50-T (on order)
Heatercore (on order)
eheim 1250 (already have)
External case (already have but not exactly what I wanted)
2x 120mm Stealth fans (might change it, they dont push that much cfm :) )
Still havent decided on the res. I need to wait for my heatercore to come in to see what kind of space I have left :)

Very nice setup.
I hope it performs well, Then I can move my SLK-900 over to my other system and move the V7+ into another and drop 1 V7+ and maybe sell it for like $20 :)
A lot of this luck of the draw. If I had a P4 that would do 3.5ghz then that would help me even more. You got lucky with a screaming P4. I got lucky with a screaming 9700. (Hope my 9800 is just as good!)Quote:

And about the Canterwood your getting, don't think you're the only upgrading soon.;) Why ya think I bought 2 512 meg sticks of Corsair PC-3500 a while back?:D
One of those 3ghz 800 fsb CPUs and a canterwood is in my near future as well.:) :D
:)
I know I am not the only one ;)
But that with my pair of PC3500, water cooling, and my 9800Pro DDRII when it comes in.. IF it ever!!!
I should score rather nicely @ 3.58Ghz :) or even more...
I know my video card is my limiting factor here. I need to clock it higher. But you have to admit with a low score on the core/mem I was almost able to beat you score :) Imagine if I can get my core near 450Mhz :) :D
That would just be insane!
What score of yours is almost beating mine?!?! heh heh
When you were at 183xx and I was at 180xx :)Quote:

heh heh...I was just messing with ya:)
:)
But now that you are over 19K, which is nice!
But hopefully your parts will arrive before mine.. I will give you a nice run for the 20K spot :)
BUT: 1K+ extra points in 3DMarks01SE is easy to obtain :) I should break 19K at around 420 on the core. (my perdiction) with the same hardware I have now but with water cooling :)
Yeah...its a tight race.:)
I think your gonna need more than 420 on the core hit 20K. I might be wrong, it's just my prediction.:)
Hopefully BestBuy ships my card out on Monday. Then I will have it on Tuesday.
Also with this score I had my 2.66 CPU in. I'm gonna switch back to my 2.53 which gives me a few more marks when my 9800 gets in.:)
I didnt say I would break 20K on the 420core :) I said I would break 19K on a 420 core and anything over that would be 19K + :)
oh..my bad.
So whos gonna be the first Shark to hit 20K? Game on!!! heh heh :)
