Anyone dl 3dmark03 yet? I'm having a difficult time doing so. All the servers are packed!
so does this mean this thread will finally die? LOL
before it gets to 2k? :(
Not if we continue to blabber about nothing until it hits 2k :)Quote:

... What? ;)
New score with 4200 at 290/580 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5961347
New Scores
3dmark2001 14237 315/294.5 Video, CPU [email protected]
3dmark2003 4635 319.5/299.3 Video, CPU [email protected]
I get somewhere around 4590 on 2003 with the higher CPU speed and lower video card settings. I backed off on the video card settings a bit because I had some artifacts. I was able to get 2.4Ghz stable CPU again by going up to 1.7v (1.675 actual). The 14237 2001 mark was at settings I'm using during actual usage.

Why dont we just utilize this thread as the 3dmark 2003 thread? heheehe
It made more sense than posting 2 messages :) My main focus was to post my 2001 scores.Quote:

I recently got 11,039 with AXP @ 1.75Ghz (195x9) and a GF3 Ti500 but I can't post my score for some reason...I think that the clock generator on my mobo is fluctuating a little and the bench thinks i'm trying to cheat so I can't post it. Oh well, I know what I got :)
heh....now i've really got my work cut out  :DQuote:

nice score man.....11k on a ti500 is not an easy task....i'd like to see what it could do with an athlon running over 2Ghz....
Hehehehe. It was a stretch to get to 11k but I got it done. Cold day, case open under the open window, holding a 100cfm 120mm fan over the vid card got me the speeds I needed ;) The link I got in my sig is how I run the comp every day...no special cooling or anything. 300 marks less than max. Not half bad. I've got to figure out why it won't let me post my scores tho. Maybe it's something in the bios, or maybe it's just my board's clock generator. oh wells.
BTW check this out. It's my old board epox 8kha+ (first link) vs. my new board epox 8rda (second link:

A mobo can make 1 hell of a difference.
Looks like lionhe@rt's thread is gonna take off.
R.I.P thread lol
