-just my opinion.
You cant please everyone.:)
Will another 256mb of memory give me a higher score In 3dmark01? Or is 256mb all that is needed? I realy want to get to 16,xxx and I dont have much money to spend.
I got a new 3dmark 2001 se score: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7066111
and the rest is in my sig. no huge record breaker but keep in mind this is a hacked 9500pro. :)
you should put everything in the proper format. if you don't whoever is going to add it/update it is just giong to ask you to do it in the proper format...so go for it now! :)Quote:

I don`t think so, unless you had a Nforce 2 MB and then you would gain just a little. But it wouldn`t hurt to add another stick if 256mb`s is all you have right now.Quote:

my sig is updated and in proper format. ;)
You should try the 9800P driver. It should give you a little boost in performance.Quote:

The 9800Pro and 9500 use the exact same driver. I think you mean BIOS. ;) (but that would NOT be a good idea  )Quote:

Thanks lonewolfroger, I didnt think so but I thought it wouldnt hurt to ask. I dont plan on upgrading my motherboard though and I am still getting some more ram. Only having 256mb is killing me:(Quote:

Thats what I thought too. I used the Omega driver that was listed for the hacked BIOS that I used.Quote:

Thats all I got for tonight, gotta work in the morning. Maybe more tomorrow. :D
Hehe your on me today xDUCK, But yes using the 9800P driver gave me better performance and I dont think its the same exact driver. The 9500 and 9700 driver are the same though...Quote:

Buddy, all Radeon cards use the exact same driver... Catalyst drivers... If you go to ATI's website, and choose your video card, you'll see that all Radeons use the same driver.Quote:

I know that all radeons use the catalyst driver. But there are difrent strings of the driver for diffrent video cards. If you take a look at my compare where it says #1 9500 Pro Class in my sig and look at the Driver Name, you will see what string I am using. If you used a 9800P string on a 7500 it wouldnt work!Quote:

Then you have either flashed to a new/hacked BIOS or are using hacked drivers (or both). ;)Quote:
