:D I use the same bios as purewire. And my driver isnt hacked, take a look for your self. Here is how it works:

In the device manager click update driver for your display adapter and that should bring up the hardware update wizard. Hit install from a list and click next. Then click dont search I will choose the driver and click next again. When the box comes up uncheck show compatible hardware. That will bring up a list of driver strings to use. No hacking, just diffrent drivers.

Anyways shouldnt you be working on that barton?:D

I'm probably going to be getting another 2500+, this one looks like it hates volts (well, I'm going to pop it into the Prometeia first). Hopefully the next one won't hit an FSB wall, it'd be nice to get another 250FSB chip. :D

Hey it gave me a boost so as long as it works, right?

Any ways 250fsb would be nice! Im going to try for 2.5ghz tomorrow. I know I can at least get 2.45.

When I get my 2500+, I`m going to beat your OC on air. It seems whenever you hook up your prommie, it springs a leak somewhere.:D

What do you mean, my OC on air? My OC of this 2500+? You plan to beat 250FSB? :D Or are you talking about total clockspeed?

And btw, I have never ever had a problem with condensation... So :p. :D

Stop ROFL! HAHA when did I say 250FSB? I said 2.5ghz. I can only dream of 250 with this board. Something more along the lines of 192fsb with a multi of 13 = 2.5ghz. :p

If you look in my sig. I`m beating you in total clock speed right now, with my T-Bred.:D PS J/K with you, the only way I could beat you would be if your cpu couldn`t OC worth a flip in your prommie. :D I am going to take my time OCing my 9800 and see how high, I can go with it.;)

Well, if it does 2.6Ghz (at 245FSB or so), I should be looking at an easy 22k (probably more like 22.5k) once I get all my vmods done. :D Of course, judging by it's current performance, 2.6Ghz seems pretty iffy. :( But I guess we'll see tomorrow when I get my shim! :D

Because it's almost impossible to find a good one now... The people with good ones are holding onto them... Most (not all, mind you) of the rest that are circulating are just lemons that people don't want to keep... :(

I just noticed that this thread is now a sticky... When did that happen? :confused: :D

Oh, and I've decided to try and push my 1.6A rig a bit harder. Got a new BH7 and some Buffalo PC3200 (Winbond CH-5) that I'mma try to get near 11000 with my GeForce 3 first Gen.

I'm able to hit 2.66 with this generic PC2100, but not quite enough :( I'm aiming for at least 2.8 or 180FSB :D )

250fsb on a kt333? thatll be hard, youd need really good ram, a chipset that can handle it plus 50/100 pci/agp. I doubt youd get past 220, Ill be supprised myself if my kt400 does past 220.

you will want over 200fsb, say 210-220 fsb, it greatly boosts performance and this is what I am trying to do!

Bud, there is no way a KT333 will do 250FSB. No way, no how. It's simply impossible. The PCI/AGP would be so far out of spec, it would be a GUARANTEED death for your HD's and video card. A KT400 might be able to push 210 or 220 if you're extremely lucky and pour your heart and soul into it... But based on what I've seen... It's not going to happen. ;) Just get an NF7-S rev 2 and watch it fly!

I never said 250 fsb:p. I said 2.5ghz(total clock speed) out of this barton. My max OC though I reached was 188fsb with a 13 multi for a total of 2444mhz. Not 2.5ghz like I hoped but it will do.

Also I didnt unlock that way. I stuck 5 wires into my socket to get a 13 multi like this:

Well, I've got a gopher out to get all my vmodding stuff as we speak!! So if they've got everything in stock, I shall be vmodding today too! :D :eek: Wish me luck!
