got a question about the console version. I have it running now, with sse and advmethods working, but if i X out of it, it will stop running. How do i make it so it still runs, but doesn't take up a space in the middle of the taskbar?:confused:

How many wu's do you keep in cache? I go through about 3 a day if that's any help. Also, do you have "send result before cache auto-switch" enabled or not? Anything else i should know? Thanks!:p

houston, we have a problem.
I got a wu done at 730 last night. EOC never picked that up. I've done 2 more since. EOC hasn't picked up either of them. After the wu got done at 730, i switched over to console, but made sure my user name was still speedyaxon and team was 34149. It says all the results were sent in successfully, but why isn't it recording anything?:(
edit: i guess it's not updating for anyone...so i'm not alone.:)
edit2: statman still works, so i would recommend going there if you usually go to EOC.:)

Didn't buy one yet. I have the computer and all.. I sorta need a case and monitor for it but a KVM would bypass my monitor situation. A box will work just fine as a case for now.Quote:

i like how we still have no threats for our team (and we are still managing to over take other teams!! :D).
We do have a threat - newz.dk.
From what I have seen they are growing quickly - already with over 400 active users and with an output over where ours was as a young team. I couldn't get EOC to open - last time I looked they were in yellow at around 285 but they would be a lot higher now.
:eek: talk about having a record day yesterday. I turned in 5 wu's somehow for 129 points. I'm amazed.
That news.dk isn't scheduled to pass us for awhile, so hopefully we can just grow a little more until they're not a threat.:)

edit: and this udmon program works really well. I keep about 3-4 wu's cached now and haven't had any problems. It's cached all gromacs for me so far, the command lines you usually put in do their job and it seems just as fast as the graphical client.:D

Our productivity has gone down by about 5%, how about another contest or something? It seems like people will do more stuff when they can win something.
Something like that might be a good idea, but it really already has been done. Either way some one would have to get it approved through Catalyst and I don't know whether it would fly since we have already had one contest. Also it would be hard to get it set up right sinc eso many people have been doing it a long time and new members are trickling in. It would be hard to get the judging fair for it (can't really go by points anymore).Quote:

Got a year to grow or increase output.
We will continue to grow, they might too, but they might also get weaker. We roughly have a year to improve or FINALLY be overtaken by another team. Let's keep this streak on as long as we can! Let us NOT be overtaken by anyone!! Conquer on!
I'm sadly announcing that i won't be folding this weekend as i will be gone and don't want to leave my compie on unattended in my dorm room. :(
