Warm weather is here. I got home the other day and it was 92f in the house, 70 outside. It must have been at least 100f in the area of the rack. Three of the amd systems had tripped off. So now you get very low out put from me. One system 24/7, and 5 more a few hours each night. Perhaps more on the weekends.Quote:

same here, i hit 20k, which was my goal, and now with the warmer weather starting to kick in i'll be winding down. i've already had one rig offline for a couple weeks as far as folding goes, and pretty soon my others are probably going down, too, one by one. i'll try to stick it out to 25k and see how it goes. :cool: well it was a fun ride, hopefully the results will end up doing some good someday.

Thermo your house gets to 92ºF ?!? Run your AC man!! My house NEVER goes above 72ºF even in July and I'm in Florida. Run the AC man!!:)
The AC can't deal with that kind of heat, its an old house with no return ducts. I have an old chiller, but it costs way to much to run. I only run it if I'm doing something that is bringing in some bucks.Quote:

And I've got three spoiled Old English Sheepdogs that would never stand for 72ºF -- they expect 68ºF tops.

cool, last time I checked, we were in 58th place; I checked about a minute ago, and we were 55th!!! Looks like as a team we are doing well. I think I will be trying to keep my 2nd rig folding 24/7, but seeing as I won't be able to monitor it (it is at my parents house and they know nothing about computers). So if I can keep its temps down and running, I will let it go.

No, the competition is not heating up again, although it was fun while it lasted, I started back folding for a little while, I won`t be doing it all the time. I`m also playing UT2K4 a lot, this is the first time I`ve even played a game like this. So, I need a lot of practice, before I can play online. :DQuote:
