And remember, once ya break into the top 100, you can use Dyyryath's Stats as well. I use those frequently, together with EOC stats. I like the different sort abilities with Dyyryath's, and the history of what my weekly output has been.

man, i'm gettin hit with all the big WU's right now....4 of my 5 systems are crunching "big ones"

i've currently got a 683 (60 pointer gromacs) on my main rig, with frame times of 11+ min. this is a rig that can also turn in sub 5 minute frame times on the easy ones :eek:
i've also got a 1029 (51.4 pointer gromacs) on my 1.9Ghz rig, a 256 (53.77 gromacs) pointer on my 1.6Ghz rig, and perhaps worst of all, a 1024 (51.4 pointer gromacs) on my little athlon Slot-A 800 system....poor guy has frame times of over an hour :eek:

should be a nice week of production though :D

Heh, I got my old Pentium Pro 200 dually system going again. For the helluvit I tossed on Win2K and two instances of Folding. Its currently working on two 51.4pt 1026 proteins. I seriously doubt it will get them in before the deadline, but I'm just too damn curious.

If I keep it running 24/7, I'll probably swap it over to Genome instead of Folding, as they don't have deadlines to meet. And I think its smaller stuff, somewhat 'easier' on the legacy systems.

might have to look into that for the athlon 800 and athlon 1.2 tbird i have running....they're only part timers (especially the 1.2tbird), and i often don't even get a WU out of them in a single week. is there any info anywhere on which proteins relate to the genome project?

also, and perhaps more importantly, do the genome project proteins count towards f@h home stats, or is it an entirely different set of stats?

40gig wd was on sale at newegg for $40 some dollars. And you can get 4 to 8 gig NOS drives for less than $20.

Dude, Even if I fold on every last computer in my home and office.. I still wouldnt be able to catch up to you even if I started at 9K :D with just a week or so left! :D :D

Welp, the ol' PPro dually definitely isn't gonna cut it. On a protein with an 18 day deadline, its currently looking at 22 days to finish. Time per frame of 5.5 hours! A whopping 15ppw per processor. Now, if I could get it to spread the load of one instance over both processors... Nah... time to have it crank on Genome stuff. Once I get a quieter hard disk anyway. Left it on last night, could barely sleep with that whiny WD disk going.

that's the one i got -- what a beast. 14min/frame on my 1800+. it's still chugging away at its last 7 HOURS :eek: :p i hope that's the last of those for me. :D

yes, afaik you need two (or more :D) separate systems. if i could get my old Dell PII300 back from my sister i would try it with my PII300 gentoo box. :cool: PII600 - woohoo! :p it looks like a cool project, though.

does Zyzzyz have two computers, or a dual processor? sorry, can't keep everyone's hardware straight.
