Best part of the game in my mind. The comic Miller was better. How about two announcers and lots of field noise?

Obviously you didn't get the point of "10 games".. I meant like 2-4 seasons. 10 games was just a facetious number.Quote:

+1 for the game, I don't watch ESPN so I don't know about the hype. But I want to see the Cowboys get their shiz handled something fierce.Quote:

My money is on NE stomping Dallas.
I just think that NE is a much more well rounded team. No glaring weaknesses.
True, but I don't think NE will stomp on Dallas. I expect a competitive game with hopefully Dallas winning by 3.Quote:

directv nfl sunday ticket FTML!!!!!!!! epic fail loss...
that was 2005 though, it's probably $20 more now, or more.Quote:
I find this to be just a bit past 12 on the lame clock. DirecTV has increased prices on their NFL Sunday ticket package, but the bulk of the increase is placed directly on the backs of HD subscribers. Is this really a company that’s trying to become the high definition leader? Or one that sees an opportunity to rake in a little more cash, from a relatively small portion (for now) of their subscribers?
The new prices for the Sunday ticket (Base package) now sits at a lofty $219.00, plus an additional $99.00 for many of the same games in high definition. The base price is only up by about $20.00 over last year, but the outrageous part is the $99.00 HD fee.
Everyone knows that within a few years (likely another 5 or so) almost all premium programming of this type will be in high definition. What then? How will DirecTV continue to justify this “HD Surcharge”? Quite simply, they won’t. Either the NFL package will go back to its previous price points or they will drop the distinction between the two. For the time being at least, this appears to be nothing more than a way to squeeze out another hundred dollars from customers who were, in all honesty, already paying an exorbitant amount for premium sports programming.

oops, my bad it went up $50... yay.
don't stand by the phone!Quote:

That's lame... and i think there is a mistake in his reasoning. I believe in 2009... that all stations have to switch over into DIGITAL, not HD. There is a difference.
Don't ask me what... and yea tvguide, good call.
Friggin sweet... I'll get the NE v. Dallas game. BONIN!!! I almost want Dallas to win because I hate the Patriots, but I don't think that'll happen just because I dislike the team.
dallas is done, they don't have the d to hope to contain the pats. The pats actually have a good defense and put up an insane number of points. Hopefully this game starts a downward spiral of the cowboys
NE has played shittier teams than even Dallas has played. OVerall they've both played shitty teams though.
I don't agree with that at all.Quote:

Dallas beat NYG(3-2), Miami(0-5), Chicago(2-3), STL(0-5), Buffalo(1-4)(6-20)
Hmm, well I guess your right based on records alone. Oh well. I think it'll will be a great game, and a tough game, I just hope the Cowboys can pull it off somehow.
Raiders over the Chargers 24-21. You read it here first :)
You are correct, the current records aren't that good. But I think that it's too early in the season to make judgements on how good a team is.Quote:

San Diego was like 14-2, and Chicago went to the Super Bowl. I don't think that any of these teams are as bad as their record indicates thus far into the short season. Specifically in the case of San Diego. It's not like the talent on these teams had a mass migration elsewhere.
And based off this alone (an entire last season) rather than the first 1/3rd of the season... I think that NEs schedule has been tougher.
In fact, even with your own reasoning (overall wins and losses), NE's is still tougher.
It's all just persona opinion at this point, but I think that the Cowboys will get stomped this weekend. And it ain't cause I like NE (I'm a Miami fan). I don't think that the Cowboys running game is that great, and I don't think that their defense is nearly as good as NE's. As I said earlier... NE is a much more well rounded team.
Of course, this is why we play the game... even teams like Miami upset teams like NE from time to time (happened last year at the end).
But I think that this game will seperate the contender from the pretender.
I think SD is on the rise and has some of their confidence back, so Chargers should win it by a TD or better. On a side note, I'm also tired of hearing LT complain, when things are gong his way.Quote:

Raiders are on the upswing and the chargers are not, they flip flopped from last year! Culpepper is gonna bowl over merriman and break his spleen for a TD, then pick Merriman up and put him over his shoulder while doing the \"knee OK\" sign and carry him back to his bench full of wimps.
Tom Brady will win, because in the end he gets another GQ cover and another model to umm, yeah.
he likes to hold goats and wear cowboy hats.
Man the refs in the GB vs. Wash game are terrible.
Oh noes! Vince Young has a slight quad strain! It's teh CURSE! TEH CURSE!
