well...currently i am running my 1700+ at 166*12.5. with my tornado turned down to about half (with my Sunbeam :)) my cpu temp is currently 35C. when it sits idle for a while it will go down to 34C. i haven't done really any tests so i'm not sure what it does at this level of overclock and my tornado at full speed. it probably drops a couple of degrees. when i go for big time oc's on my processer i always pop up my tornado to max. running my 1700+ at 2.5GHz with the tornado at max, i usually hit about 45-46C...or something close to that. oh...and this badboy is VERY loud! :) but it really isn't to bad. the sunbeam really helps, though! ;)Quote:

Is that your actual die temp or just a general air reading?Quote:

That is the temp the BIOS is telling me :) Intel doesnt do die temps... Its mostly the sensor below the chip IIRC...
But that is after my A/C had about 30 minutes to cool on low and pushed to medium.. High has a better volume but not as cold :)
Still, that's only -6.6, and that's socket, not die. :p My die is -38C. :D Bwahahaha I am loving this thing.
On the other hand, I am probably going to have to RMA this motherboard :(. Thankfully, it's still under the 30-day RMA/exchange warranty from the vendor.
