i guess you could try it -- it would be a lot of trouble but it might work.

on another note, i upgraded to the 2.6.0 linux kernel last weekend, and i noticed last night that i had been dropping WUs like crazy. it would do a couple of percents and then start over, hour after hour. my WU count has skyrocketed to over 400! :p i've had to bump my OC down a couple of fsb, but i'm just wondering if there are any other linux folders on sharky, and whether they have had problems with the new kernel.

I found the problem(I think) with my 1600+ computer, I don`t know why but if I do more then 4 WU`s without, restarting my computer my log file in notepad becomes full and it freezes my computer when it does this, because it can no longer write to it. I have been restarting my computer after running 4 WU`s and I have not lost another WU. Can someone explain why this would happen. BTW, I am using Win98SE with this computer.

I noticed that too! I was shocked at the WU amount and little points you had :D

I didnt notice a difference in my 2.6.0 and overclocking.. But it is a very mild overclock :)

doesn't windows have problems with opening extremely large txt files in notepad? maybe Win98 has more of a problem then xp...i don't know. that's the only thing i can come up with right now... :confused:

Thats the weirdest problem I have come across, I have not lost another WU, yet by restarting the computer after 4 WU`s, so it can reset notepad.
