This is pretty funny.

He rips the Lions fairly often.
With 7 first day picks, at this point I would be surprised if Atlanta DOESN'T move up to #2.Quote:

Yea, I could see Al Davis picking him just to mess everyone else up. Man I can't wait for all this speculation to be over with.Quote:

Report: Favre Still Certain Randy Moss Will Be A Packer (4/26 9:39 PT)
The Facts: In the process of tracking down rumors regarding whether the Raiders will trade Moss to the Packers (or anyone else) before or during the draft, we've re-confirmed that Brett Favre is "certain" that Moss will be a member of the team in 2007. Reported by Profootballtalk.com
Diehards Line: As PFT editor Mike Florio stressed, this doesn't mean that Moss will be traded to Green Bay on Thursday or Friday, or that the trade will come during the first day of the draft. It also doesn't mean that Moss ever will be a Packer. It only means that Favre was -- and still is -- "certain" that Moss will join the team. Florio went on to suggest it could be that Favre, through agent Bus Cook, is privy to Moss' plan to refuse any and all overtures aimed at reducing his $9.75 million salary for 2007 -- a tactic that could force Oakland to release the mercurial receiver. ... Stay tuned. We'll be watching.
I say take CJ and get chris leak in the 2nd, or someone else. They may be able to trade Moss to the pack for their 2nd (15th) round pick - so they could get CJ in the first then a QB in the 2nd and have their own pick...
Be careful with that stuff you read at PFT.:p
Chris Leak in the second? You've got to be kidding. If he comes off the board before the 5th round I will be amazed.Quote:

The other reason the talks might have slowed down (for McCown) -- and the Raiders are considering Culpepper as a second option -- is because the Lions might have a contingency arrangement worked out. There's no question the Lions will consider a quarterback in the second round and there are several candidates -- Drew Stanton, John Beck and Trent Edwards among them.
If the Lions do take a quarterback, they could immediately deal McCown to Oakland and still get a pick to use in this draft.

wow, could be BS but it seems as if the packers are trying to load up on talent as if it's Favre's last hurrah... one last run at the big show.Quote:
The Facts: Scout.com is reporting that the Packers have offered a first-round pick and a fourth-round pick to the Chiefs for Johnson. Reported by Scout.com
Analysis: As Profootballtalk.com editor Mike Florio suggests, this report -- if true -- is a stunner. Florio went on to explain that Packers G.M. Ted Thompson doesn't like to pay big money for newcomers. And that's what it would take to keep Johnson beyond 2007, the last year of his rookie deal. If the report is true, Thompson will need to have tentative agreement with Johnson on a long-term deal in order to ensure he remains in Green Bay beyond 2007. ... We'll remind you these kind of rumors tend to run rampant in the days leading up to the draft. The vast majority never pan out. That said, we'll be watching closely.
they can run all they want, they're not getting to the show.
But there's no reason to take a guy in the 2nd when it is very likely he'll be available 3 rounds later, and basically guaranteed he'll be available in the 4th.Quote:

Florida quarterback Chris Leak will spend the two days waiting and waiting. He won a national championship, but he lacks arm strength, is shorter than 6-feet tall and he isn't tough. That's a bad combination. "I watched one game of his and left," said an NFC scout. "He didn't play tough at all." It might be time to dial up the Arena League.
Not definative by any means but its a good indicator of where he is viewed.
