I didn't really get it working PROPERLY until this morning, so I haven't taken any pictures. If you do a P4C800 or 8KNXP review, though, I'll do take pictures and post em. Deal? :)

I think I'm going to cut a hole in Beta's bottom and route Alpha's tube through, yeah - there is definately space, as long as Alpha's tube is somewhat flexible.

You'd have to ask some P4 owners - IIRC, though, Colossus was saying that his IC7 was actually a relatively poor overclocker (however, he says he was using it with a pretty infant BIOS).

And as for the IC7, I can't speak for it as I have no experience with it. However I would not say that the IC7-G is a poor overclocker. I love mine to death.:)

Yes... The BIOS was pre 1.20 or something like that... I remember telling vertices to try that BETA BIOS out and let me know how it works.. So it was before the major boost in memory speed....

The BIOS itself could of been a bad overclocking BIOS... But the IC7 wasnt able to produce the same results as the KNXP.. That was the main reason and the lack of a NIC upset me.. That I sold that board..

I like to experience new hardware :)

vert: I was meaning to ask... I was looking over some 2003 benchies and I noticed some people with similar clock speed scoring almost 7400-7450... So I wonder what is up????

Not right now. Man I have NO extra time anymore. I leave my house at 7:30 am and don't usually get home till 7-9pm.

We have been loaded with work at my new job with a ton of lightning strikes knocking out equipment. MsBlast also gave us a ton of work.

I'm also cramming through Cisco books and have to get this stuff down REALLY quick. Most of our grunt work revolves around setting up multi site VPN networks all utilizing Cisco equipment. With all the work that has to get done plus trying to learn more in my spare time, I just don't have time for system tweaking right now.

Plus I got my wedding coming up in less than 3 months and a lot of last minute preparations for that.

I probably won't upgrade again till the Socket T version of Prescott becomes available.

I'm sure someone will knock me down from my #1 spot pretty soon. I'll take it back later when I have more time.:)

When I ran that, I did it on a fully loaded, non tweaked system. All kinds of apps loaded on the machine. I didn't even try for a high score. I just ran it once and posted the score.

That's probably why it was lower. Plus there have been new BIOS's since then and new drivers.:)

I can understand that... I am having some problems with VPN and a client of mine... But its not Cisco based hardware.. She wouldnt spring for that!!! (cheap people) Maybe you can help me out with tweaking its performance? :D

Sorry if I'm coming off as demanding - I'm just trying to get you to get that review done! :) If you don't have the time, I totally understand, of course; it's just that you said you do have it, you're just lazy. :D

I was going by price, but if you think it is worth the extra money to get the IC7-G, I`m all for it, it will just take a little longer to get it, also what ram do you recommend getting for it. I`m like a turtle, it takes a while for me to get there but eventually I do. ;) Also that was a nice review of the PD4000 vertices.

But 2003 doesnt care for a bloated HD.. Just 2001... I run 2003 benchmarks on my regular HD... But 2001 on my seperate drive.. I tried a seperate 2003 drive and I didnt score any higher.. So I dont feel it would make that much of a difference :(

Maybe some services might change a few points but I dont think it would do anything major...

Maybe in a month I could help you. Right now I am pretty much the new guy learning all this stuff. It's pretty much them telling me what to do and me doing it.

Man I got a lot left to learn. Hopefully I'll be more knowledgeable about it in about a month.:)
