I am just not in the mood to do that kind of review... You know how much work it is to swap all the parts from my #2 and swap the board and processor... Its just something I dont want to do now... I am being lazy, yes.. But I can be I am not in any kind of rush! :D :D

Yeah but you know there a tons of tweaks and little things that add up to getting a higher score.

I'm sure if I sat down and spent a couple of hours I could hit at least 7400 with it.:)

Hey, for $425 USD I could get any P4 mobo + 2.8C. :p :D

I understand, though - just tell me when you are (and remember I will be motherboard-less very soon :().

I know you are... But you can buy the board instead of wasting some cash to fix the other prommie first :D

Well do, I`ll put put the MB further down on the list and get the Cpu and ram first, and since I`m still going with air is there all that much differance between the SLK-900U and the 800U. The last thing, I`ll be getting is a new video card, so it will be either a 9800np or 9800pro. It should be a good system when I`m finished I hope.

I'm getting the Prometeia fixed for free (well, the seller is paying for it - I hunted him down and he agreed to pay for the repairs). :)

If I can get my paws on a Canterwood + P4, along with these two Prometeia's, I stand a reasonable chance of setting a world 2k1 record, do I not? :)

The ONLY difference between the 800u and 900u is that the 900u has the 92mm adapter for the fan...

Thanks, Colossus, I`m going to go with the 800U, I just don`t see no reason putting something that big on there, I`ll have a Vantec Tornado on top of it anyway, noise don`t bother me.;) :)

Well, stranger things have happened - it would take a near miracle to actually get the #1 spot, but the people with 25k all have P4's + either dual phase change or phase change and watercooling. Given the same equipment, why wouldn't I be able to get it? :)

wow man I have the exact same cooling, its the vantec that causes my temps to plummet like a rock. that cooling is so hardcore I can run 2.47GHz at 2.2v and that cpu hardly gets warm :eek: :eek: :eek:

Get what 25k or the #1 spot?

If you need to mod the board for extra voltages on the CPU, GPU, NB, memory, etc...

Without doing that and their knowledge of tweaking, etc... It would be hard to get to 25k... How do I know this??? :D

I have a friend with a 3.0c with dual prommie and he is only at 23k :D

So... But good luck anyway :)
