The pats are nuts and so if brady. Anyone know what the TD record is? Tom's definitely going to break it.

The giants destroyed the 49ers. Trent Dilfer really got his *** kicked the entire game. I'm liking the giants on both sides of the ball, but the special teams make me nervous in coverage, especially kickoffs. Tynes missed an extra point again, that's 2 for the season. I feel like I'm watching college football on extra points, I get nervous and am excited when they go through now.

I believe its still Peyton Manning's record from 2004, 49 TD's single season record.

I think so... at this moment in time, he's WAAAAAY ahead of where Marino or Manning were. Scary thing is... nobody has been able to stop their passing game yet... and they haven't even BEGUN to run the ball.

There is talk of teams deploying 6 DBs in an attempt to stop the Pats passing game... then they'll just run it down the other teams throats. I don't see any way of stopping them.

Thing is too... the 'Phins D has actually been pretty decent against the pass in the past.

About the picks... I goofed. Should have read the fine print... LOL! I thought that we were picking games straight up... not against the spread. I'll have to adjust. Without the spread, I think that I was like 10/13.

'Phins are hopeless.... HOPELESS! Betcha that they wishes that they'd have held on to Culpepper. :mad:

I agree. Kornholler has to go. Jimmy was funny. I found the bit funny. Last nights steelers/broncos game was great. Or at least the 2nd half. Maybe it was my beer level, but I was having a blast. MNF makes Madden seem like a great announcer. (I now find him fun to watch. Informative with less circles and booms. Enthusiastic and knowledgable. And only 2 announcers. Why even 2? How about one guy and more on the field sounds?

That's very possible...

I'm going off a hunch here and nothing else... historically, Jacksonville has played them tough. And I think that Indy is due for a loss.

That means Indy is picked to win by 3, if Indy wins by 3 its a push (basically you don't win or lose money, basically a tie). If Indy wins by 4 or more you win, and if Indy wins by 2 or less, or loses, you lose.

I'd say he will break it, but I bet its not by much, probably very low 50's. Of course that could change real fast if he gets injured.

I'll probably try and get them up Wednesday or Thursday. Though if I do as bad next week as this week I might be done :p

The simplest way to is take the final score and minus the spread points from the favorite team -- if they still would've won the game without those points, they "beat the spread".

Like the New England game looked like a blowout, but look at the spread and it was pretty close.

New England had to beat Miami by at least 16.5 points. The final score was 49-28. However, the actual spread score was 32.5-28. So if Miami had got another touchdown they still would've lost the game, but they would've beat the spread.
