I don't care what kind of cooling you have, to even hit Top5 is incredibly difficult.:)

Ugh what BS. The people with 25k have speeds like 530-550/410-420. Remember, my RAM can go way faster than vertices' - I'm 3fps behind him in nature, and my CPU/FSB SUCKS, and I'm 50core less. So don't tell me I need 600mhz core to break 25k.Quote:

No but v3.2 on the ram, maybe 1.90v on the CPU, 1.90v on the GPU, etc etc etc... But remember they tweak different.. Even if you had their system with a clean drive and you benchmark.. You would be lucky to even get close to their score :)Quote:

What are these secret tweaks? :) Are they protected by penalty of death, or will a simple PM to Opp or Macci reveal them?
They might tell.. I dont see why... But like I said even with the dual prommie and a 2.4c, 2.6 or even a 2.8c you are still not going to get 25k :D
Like I said maybe 23k at most or even 23.5 depending on how high you can take that card :)
EDIT: But even without 25k your rig will be real fast :)

Also without a kick arse CPU... Run some 2003 benchmarks.. You score is more based on how far you can push the video card.. You should get one sweet score :)

he has 4.01GHz and 520/400 clock speeds and still didnt quite break 24k either. Those breaking 25k have around 550/420. It could take 50 9800 pros before you find one thatll clock so high. although a 3.2 at 4GHz which the C man says good chance and a 9800 at 500/400 you should get like 23.5k This would put you on the bottom of the 2nd page which isnt bad

it would cost me a grand to switch to Intel. Id need a mobo, 2.8c and fast ram, this all adds up and its expensive. I need a v mod to my ti4200 for first place :( but first I must get the v mod on the ti500 to work

I was taking to a rep at Corsair about PC4000 and he kinda mentioned CL2 with the new PC4000 :)
