W00t w00t w00t my new NF7-S rev 2 is here, hooked up to my Prometeia, and it solved my voltage/memory problems. Surprises soon! (I hope)
The second Prometeia is being repaired as we speak (getting the return & cap tubes repaired and extended, and refilled with R134a)!
I'm drawing up my 3d plans for my RAMblocks (water cooling blocks for my video card)!
The days and weeks ahead should be interesting... :D

You can break 15k easily if you knew what you were doing :D :D :D
Yes, a "prometeia" (that is, a vapor phase change unit) could be built relatively cheap. However, you wouldn't be able to build it (and neither would I). Trust me - I had a 2 hour conversation about this with an expert today (who is now repairing my second prometeia :)). It's not a question of knowledge, but rather equipment and environment. You could convert an air conditioner or freezer into a primitive phase change unit, but in the end it would probably not be worth your time. PM me if you want more details.Quote:

Hey guys i see some pretty nice scores have been posted in the last week or so. I have been really busy in the last week with this big military exercise we have going over here. I hope in a week or so I get my rig to go over the top. I bought another 2.4C, this one is a Malay chip and I hope it OC's much better. I have had it to 290 fsb in single channel mode, but can't get it anywhere near that in dual channel. I just ordered some OCZ PC4000 memory tonite and should see it in about 10 days, then we will see what this rig can do :D
Anyway, keep the great benching coming and I hope to throw some great scores your way in a couple of weeks. Peace :D
