I wish I had posted draft predictions for the Ravens. I had the feeling they would take both Troy Smith and Yamon Figurs, though I didn't think they would take Figurs as high as they did.

Like I said, we'll see which moss shows up. He had so many drops last year that he was competing w/ TO to see who would finish w/ the most. We all know his workout routine is close to nonexistent, plus he seems to be more injury prone lately.Quote:

Agreed.Quote:

Yea, so did Culpepper. I cant believe this, you would think that other teams would want to make the Pats WORSE, but instead, they just give up great players literally to make the pats far better...jeeez. Thats just stupid, Moss for a 4th rounder, cmon Raiders you could have done better than that! Brady probably sh** his pants when the deal actually went through :DQuote:

I can still remember a time when the Pats were consistently one of the worst teams in the league. Guess they figured out how to turn it around over the years.
Ohh yes... a laughing stock for quite some time. Then they got Bledsoe.Quote:

Funny how times change... the old superpowers, and the new superpowers.

won't happen again, Colts don't have the firepower to match NE on either side of the ball, I love Marvin to death but I think thats it for him, no more rings....he earned his though the hard way.
NE is sending a message by taking Meriweather and Moss...we will win at any cost, "just win baby" east coast style... they are pulling out all the stops, taking guys with character issues and work ethic problems....they are going to win, end of story.
it's only a matter of time though before they butt rape Tom Brady like they did all the other guys they cut who they didn't want to pay....soon he will be deemed expendable too.
I think you're going a bit far there. You build a team around a qb, it's not everyday a good one comes along. Especially one as clutch as brady. Look at how far the team got when you took away his receivers. He's a stud, getting rid of him would be a horrible move and it's not going to happen for a while.Quote:

He's going to have to deal with it, Pats have plenty of options to throw to. Either he wants to be a positive part of a team (one that will certainly win, unlike minny or Oaktown) or he can go be a spoiled little girl about everything.
yea it will be interesting to see what happens. The top of the AFC is shook up a bit with all the coaching changes in SD all the roster additions in New England and the players the colts lost.
In other news watch out for Detroit in the NFC!
:p
Big change for the Steelers coming with a two tight end offense.
Cowboys sure seem to want a crowd to pick from at QB - Tony Romo, Brad Johnson, Matt Baker, Brock Berlin, and they just signed Matt Moore when he didn't get drafted.
