I've got my 9800XT on the way but it wont be here till like the 15th of next month. I won't be pushing it hard though, have no time for that for a while, at least until work calms down.
I've been flying though Win NT to Win 2K3 migrations and have another one all weekend long. Also a bunch of wireless installs and all sorts of stuff. Work is keeping me REALLY busy. I'm working like 75-80 hours per week.
So is Colossus banned or is it just a joke?:confused:

I am supprised colossus got banned! maybe he flamed someone or argued with one of the mods. also Xduck should have broken 23k by now as well and hes on an amd system! not a64! also why did you get a 9800xt if you are too busy to game or 3dmark? id just get a cheap card till you get less busy then there would be far better stuff :)

1) Colossus is not banned. He's just toying with you guys, he's been too busy to post much.
2) It'll take a lot of effort for me to break 23k again, Tbird. As you know, my 9800 Pro died, and the new one is simply not up to par. I'm going to need more CPU power to counterbalance. It looks like I will be able to bench at 250FSB CPU Interface Enabled 1:1 2-2-2-11... But I don't want to get ahead of myself until I have actually done so (waiting for a specific diode to get to me so I can solder it onto my mobo ;)). Tbird, you have no idea how difficult it is for me to break 23k here. IIRC, I hold the 7th highest non-A64 AMD score in the world. It is NOT easy to get even higher, Tbird - especially with a slower video card.
Nag me again when you are #7 in the world with a Ti4200...
