Pick me coach, pick me! ;) How does one go about joining this society of speed freaks? :D My scores OK now, but once new case arrives I should be able to squeeze some more megahertz out (because it hertz so good ... that was realllllly lame...) and try to show off the ocing I learned off these forums. Are there official teams on 3dmark so that you can compare different teams or is it just to promote SE?

BTW, where did that thread on removing a graphics card HSF go? I've been looking but forgot to bookmark it and can't find it....

Anyone else notice the max payne billboard in the first demo in the 3d mark tests!?? OK, I've run it far too many times for my own good...

i've got a garbage video card at the moment, so the score will be low.. but i'm thinking of picking up a r9700pro. (i'll need one anyways, as i just bought a p4 1.8a that will be o/c'ed to about 2.5ghz.. my score will definetly go up)

here's my current rig:
cpu: AXP1800+ @ stock speed (1533mhz)
motherboard: MSI KT3 Ultra
ram: Samsung PC2700 256mb
video card: ATI Radeon 7000 (stock speed)
os: Win2k with SP3
cpu cooling: Retail HSF
video cooling: Bone stock for now
score: 2266 3D Marks

Well I dunno where Pyro is at ( he is the one tht started the 3dmark team) U can PM Him and and give him ur Hardware Info and 3Dmark Score Link and then Add a sig to the SE's 3Dmark Team , like my sig :)

Pyro, i tried sending you a PM with some updates, but your mailbox is full :(

Just a little "peeve" of mine is for people who put 3DMark scores in your signature but put the default specs. That makes it very misleading. I think if your going to put a 3DMark score it would be better to put the specs that it took for the system to reach that performance mark.

Pyro is the one who's hosting the site, so you'll have to contact him...as i posted above though, his pm mailbox is full, so you may have to just stick it out a while...

and jago...yeah i suppose it is a little misleading, but if ppl click my link to my compare i've got all the stats & overclock settings that the score was made with posted at madonion ;) (or i suppose it's "futuremark" now... :rolleyes: )

I haven't seen Pyro on AIM or read any of his posts lately. I think he has been busy with school. Last he posted, he mentioned that.

Afew members told me to give this thread a boost. :)

I've added 2 categories:
CPU Top 10 OC
VGA Top 10 OC

You guys will notice that some of the categories are not full. Such as 3dmark03 Top 10 Scores. Thats because I'm too lazy too go around the forums searching for who has the highest this and that. :p If you want your score on the site, simply post your score here or PM/email me. :)

I've got the ORIGINAL GeForce 3 that is originaly clocked at 200/450

I've got it at 250/575

Respectively, that is a 25% GPU OC, and a 28% Memory OC

25+28=53/2=26.5% overall OC :D

Lemme know if I qualify ;)
