I've been working on a pretty cool castle on my single player game, wish I was doing it on that server. Ive got the main walls and started the first tower. I planned on having each of the 4 towers serve a different purpose, on is for crafting, one has the entrance to a mine, ect. its in the middle of a huge lake ona sandbar, with a cool bridge going over to the mainland.
didn't know if any one else knew...but I found a mp bug with tools. If you throw your tool and pick it up, the health respawns. probably old news but I just found that out
About tool health resetting, I posted about it a couple posts up, but it was thrown in with some other stuff so good to have a single post about it.
md1198p: We have a TON of extra cobblestone if you want to start a castle on multiplayer. :)
That map is so weird to me. I always pictured my name sign being in the South.
Speaking of which, I just realized earlier today that the "I" is 5x6, and thus is shorter than all the other 6x6 letters. This means I must redo it, buy it's THE BOTTOM LETTER. I HAVE TO REDO THAT WHOLE FACE.
I put up most of the second wall today (missing the top 2 letters) in only 15 or 20 minutes or so, so redoing shouldn't take too long.
But didn't you say it was touching the sky? You need to drop the floor to expand the I!Quote:

It's a little hard to picture based on my map because of the scale, but points J and K are now connected by a very (very, very) long road + tunnel. The continuation of the southbound road came out only a few blocks away from the spiral tower.
Couldn't have planned it better. :)
The tunnel part of the road has 4 additional features:
- an exit to outside from where I hit a cavern
- a side window into this cavern
- a glass viewing area beneath your feet into another cavern
- a spiral-staircase-exit up to the door of the spiral tower

Must have done my math wrong before; I was able to top off my name with the extra level and I can still build 3 spaces up above the M.
3 sides built for the Monroeski Memorial. Last side should go up in no time; after that, it's all up to gaining the ability to place water and lava and then it will be truly complete.
Lol, I put that lincoln statue in the mausoleum over a day ago. I was wondering when someone would notice it!
Well, I'm working on the reflecting pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Who's gonna get started on the Capitol Building?!
I'm working on a building away from base camp. I'll be there for the next 10+ hours of game time.
Tim I love the Lincoln statue, that thing is awesome!
Don't think I'm going to build anything else til the Halloween update, just in case we have to start a new map.
I'm mostly just going to collect lava, probably. That way if it's fixed, I have it ready, but I won't have spent too much time building something that will get wiped.Quote:
