Nahh, I won't be catching you in a hurry. I nearly managed to get 1,100 processors folding 8 hours a day which would have almost put me on par with Thermo, but that fell through....

I'll hit the top 10, then I'll waddle around for a while as folk like XJ go through me like a bad curry..... I started out at number 4, but with only 4 team members at that stage I could only feel so proud :)

You, however, are destined for the big-time :D

Update from the front:

Well, I think I’m about to go on a tear through the work units now. Those of you who had aspirations of running me down may be disappointed :D What……Did you just expect me to sit here and let you pass me by :eek:


Less one system, Nemesis is folding. One PSU was DOA so it is only the 5 XP’s right now. Heat may be an issue, it was dropping units. I added some fans (hung them from the stack by the cables) and it seems to be ok now. But I may never need to run the furnace again :o

The FX is folding with SSE now, at about twice the rate it was before. I put the old bata client on it and used the –forceasm tag.

I don’t have enough current in this room, so I took two of the slower machines off line for now. About -150 points a week I guess. But such is life........

You are sick sick sick! :) I love it!

So you actually have so many computers that you are reaching the limit of the circuit? Did you pop the breaker a few times? :D

i definately know what you mean about the heat thing...with just 3 systems in this room it gets a bit warmer than i'd like....how many do you have running in there now?

16 running and 2 resting, with another one waiting on an RMA and one needing a repair.

I don't know if that is going to happen ... These computers did have a purpose besides folding and I might be slowing production down a bit after the new year ,but I'll see if I can recruit some new machines :)

Congrats Thermo your new setup sounds like it's going to kick some butt.

Thermo I'm running my dual procesor computers with two seperate clients. Started to read about setting them up to run one ,but never got back to it. Does it fold anyfaster that way or does it take the same amount of time to do two units?

No, I am more like an old battered centurion. Not fit for polite company during times of peace. I know, but the 1700 is my main work station, and it dives better with just one client. The 500 is so slow that I just have not bothered to set it up.

I would but when the board is trying to ban me... Why should I fold for a site that doesnt want me here?

Hmmm How can Phelan, complete 6 WU's and only have 13 points?

Does that mean his overclock is unstable? So that is would cancel the folding and just report what was completed?
