alright, I'm back and trying to fold again. I'm gonna quit using udmon which seemed to cause more problems on dial-up than it helped. So just the regular graphical client, version 4.0. I forgot a bunch of stuff, but -forceasm -forceSSE is all i need right?

I just started... less than 2 hours and I got 25000 out of 500000 steps.

How long do these things take? I've gone for a bit more than a day and I've 365000 out of 500000 steps done. What the hell does that mean? Is that good?
Are all the units that same size?

We now have an all-time low of active members. Just 72 of us still going and that's with the new guys who have recently signed up. 260 Sharks initially signed up. We all, more or less, have fast machines. Many of us more than one. Come on people! We are about to lose 43rd spot to some team with only 113 active users. I still just have my 2.6C (currently around 2.8GHz). I was thinking about getting a lappie (which would have been a folder whenever plugged into AC), but now I'm getting one from work. Hopefully I'll get uncheap enough to put together a cheap little backup rig this winter - an A64 3000+ would make a nice little folder, no? I haven't kept up on K8 folding performance...
