And what's with all of those cluttered desktops? I couldn't stand that. I have 6 icons on my desktop and that is a lot for me! (had only one for the longest time...and that was the recylce bin) :)
Lol, I realized after I typed that that Tu2thepoo's was MUCH larger than mine, oh well:pQuote:

And I'm the same way, I like to keep my desktop icons to a minimum, but I got tired of going into My Computer just to dig up EAC. So, I just moved all the proggies I use on a day-to-day or weekly basis right where I can reach them:)
shot :)
I used to be anal about the amount of icons on my desktop, but then I decided that the desktop space is there for a reason, so I might as well use it. Keeping my desktop to four icons or less makes as much sense to me as wiping a 200gb hard drive because you're using more than 40gb, if that analogy makes sense. S'long as I can still see the wallpaper, it's kool and the gang.Quote:

Okay I will post a link to it (as the background is a image of two guys kissing... just a word of warning):
http://www.glomar.net/capture.jpg
It is resized from 1152X864.
I don't know if I'd describe myself as anal about it, heh, but I hate seeing icons on my so cool FORD wallpaper. :p So I just right-click to see them or not. Question: How do you resize so it comes out smaller in the post?Quote:

Screw using Photoshop to resize, just use the resizing powertoy!

I like to keep programs I use frequently in folders on the desktop.

XP1800,
The A7n8x Deluxe comes with 2 NIC. 1 x 3Com & 1 x Nvidia.
I am currently connected to the 3Com and the Nvidia shows
inactive in the task bar.

All you have to do is open your network connections from the control panel, right click and disable the unused port. I've got the same thing on the 8RDA3+. It'll make that annoying icon go bye-bye.
Yeah that's what I figured was going on, since at home I'm on wireless and at school I'm on wired, so sometimes I forget to disable one or the other. I was just being a smart***:)
edit: Lol, the language filter didn't pick that up! I'll edit it to be a nice guy:)
Thats one of the features I liked about Windows 3.1Quote:
