I see 410-415 (depending on cooling)... And 555+ on the core. :D AND A 250FSB BARTON THAT JUST WON'T GIVE UP!

But aircooling has been good to me so far... I had water running for a day or two without the VC cooler.. But I leave my system on 24/7 and I am still kinda nervous about water leaks...
More nervous over the lose of data more then the hardware...
Ah you know as well as I do a well designed watercooling setup will not leak. Do the job right and it will dry till the very last day :D
Man you guys take this way too serious. But, since it does seem to be important to you, why wait? Go for it now, it shouldn’t be hard. After all, I know "Richard" about this stuff, I bench a little new hardware every year or so. Mark’en is not really my thing. Heck, you guys are professionals, and taking a novice like me down should be easy. So go for it, nothings holding you back but fear and common sense ;)

oh i'll be putting up a fight even if he doesn't. looks like i'll be getting an athlon64 3400 and a shuttle an50, giga k8npro or chaintech zenith... haven't decided out of those three boards yet. i'm also looking into volt modding my radeon, and i already have 410 memroy clocks going...

yes, but i should be able to run 240+ FSB on my hyperx after i do a few mobo volt mods. i've talked to mickeymouse (jason) about this and he thinks 24k should be pretty easy with my radeon.Quote:

i don't know that i'll be able to run 240x11, i may have to do 240x10.5, as it appears as though the best heatsink i can slap on there is a thermaltake venus 8+ and people don't seem to be getting mroe than 2.5 on air with the 3200 (though maybe the 3400 will OC better). also, 470/411 is the highest i can bench stable, so until i voltmod the core i won't be breaking 160 in nature. i do know a few tricks, so 25k won't be impossible, but i think my score will be somewhere in the mid 24k range.
Um i would be dancing in the street with joy. My computer is insured for $3000 and I have my P4C800-D, IC7-G and both 9800 pro's in my carry on luggage so there is not much risk of losing them :DQuote:

yea!!!!!!!!! you go man! Of course youll need super cooling to get a good overclock though. the xp3200s may be better for air cooling since lower multi means higher fsb but for those who really can chill out, they want to max the fsb and the 11x helps hit higher speeds. 273fsb will get 3 gigs! :eek: I can hardly wait to see 25k! Thermo probably broke 23k, I have a feeling he did. I had predicted he will push mid to high 23k in another post.

going for the big 20k now? :D 15k honestly isnt too bad, but I also will match or eat your ti4600 score with my ti4200 once my abit nf7 arrives :)
