I concur. For his rookie season he was outstanding. Now can he do it again or even better now that teams have 16+ games of him and the offense on tape?Quote:

They have all week to disect the previous weeks tapes. I don't think that there are many surprises. When Bush was doing good, teams caught on pretty quick and planned for him.
It's not like any team has a sudden revelation at the end of the year like "Hey... that Bush guy is pretty good! We should have accounted for him in our gameplan"!
maybe afterwards they can compare size...Quote:
Bengals' Johnson to race horse
Posted: Thursday May 31, 2007 10:05AM ET
Bengals WR Chad Johnson will race against a horse on June 9 at River Downs. To benefit the charity "Feed the Children," Johnson will try to match strides with a 4-year-old colt named Restore the Roar over RD's turf course. The event, billed as "Man vs. Beast," will be the feature race and will be simulcast to more than 400 outlets across the country and in South America. The horse will break from the inside from a starting gate at the eighth pole, and Johnson will break from the outside rail going 11/16 of a mile to the wire. The distances are calculated to create a photo finish.
wonder if they will wear different colored jerseys so we can tell them apart.
Chad Johnson is strange....Quote:

He could be doing the "hey look at me dance" naked and I wouldn't care as long as it is for a charity which this is for. Any money he raises for that charity is more than they had before and that is A+ in my book.
That's true. Charity work gets a pass. No doubt he'll enjoy the exposure though.
seems like chad does his antics for fun though and not so much for ego like T.O... maybe I got him wrong...racing a horse? from the net I see horses average about 28 to 30 mph...thoroughbreds can get up to 35, michael johnson "world's fastest man" runs like 28 mph and while I don't doubt ocho could run faster than him, he definitely can't do it for 11/16ths of a mile...maybe for a 15 yard post route. ocho ftl in this one
I did not mean strange in a bad way....more like strange in a strange way
I like chad, he's arrogant but in a funny/likeable way.

Today is June 1st. It should be interesting soon. Who is due huge roster bonuses or salaries? Who will not be allowed to work out or do team drills? Who will end up signed with the Raiders?

Oh man I forgot about the cuts! The big one here in Detroit is Damien Woody. He's do a huge roster bonus and such, but has been a huge bust coming from being a pro bowler in New England.
They have McCown as their starter I believe.Quote:
